Myrtle Beach and the Shimmering Sea
The eastern edge of Pandora is all coastline, with the beautiful and sunny Myrtle Beach running along the edge. North of town the land slopes up until it reaches the sheer drop of a great cliff that stretches as far as Pandora's wall. On top of the cliff is a lighthouse, looking over the blue ocean. Many tiny islands are scattered throughout the waters, none larger than a mile across.
The cliffs overlook Myrtle Beach, providing a sheer drop to the sandy beach below. A steep staircase has been cut into the cliff side, leading down to a small cave just past the beach. The cave vanishes at high tide.
On a hill overlooking the ocean sits a small but by no means neglected field. A stone wall surrounds the area, a black gate marking the entrance to the cemetery. Scattered across the ground are graves, many of which now remain empty, previously buried bodies having since faded from Pandora. Empty graves, those lucky enough not to go unmarked, are left with grave markers to honor a memory.
A worn path and a near hour's walk brings the docks in sight. Sitting directly east of Pandora town, this is the center of Pandora's small maritime activity. There is also a small shipyard where wood is lugged in to build new ships and boats. A rising fishing industry is building here.
