    @Chise Hatori

Bill has officially been in this whacked up world for...about two and a half weeks. And he’s bored.

When he first got the info from Pomegranate about this place, he thought ‘this was a new world ripe for the taking’! Sure, he couldn’t get out of said world, but if it was as weird as him, then it’d keep him entertained for a while!

Turns out, it didn’t. Being stuck in Pandora’s dream world was like being stuck in the Nightmare Realm; it was confining. Suffocating, even—and he didn’t even have lungs like those meatsacks. How was he supposed to get things done, where there wasn’t anything entertaining around here?!

Bill didn’t have his physical form any more and just thinking about the how made him turn red in anger. Stupid Pines twins—if he ever sees those old timers again...oh, they’ll wish they had never been born.

The triangle decided to make things entertaining again. The spirits around the dream world were either neutral or territorial. Bill did fight against some of them that wanted a piece of him, killed a couple too. The spirits were like demons in the Nightmare Realm: you need to show them who’s boss.

So now, he was picking around dreams and turning them into nightmares—sometimes, he just observed it and how it went. It was funny to see how the meatsacks (both humans and non-humans) would run and run for their lives and yet still die in their dreams. He let out a full blown at something similar and plucked the nightmare from this dreamer, clenching into his hand and consuming it, before he moved on to the next one. Not something he did often, but Pandora was different.

    He needed to adapt.

“Alright! Let’s see what you’ve been dreaming.” He looked into the subconscious of the dreamer, noticing how it’s already a nightmare—basically, being lost in the woods. Come on—those nightmares were so boring! He groaned in annoyance before perking up and slightly touching the surface of the nightmare. It caused ripples to move before the nightmare shifted and added paranoia to them.

Sure, seeing a monster was scary, but what if you couldn’t see it? Imagination was something meatsacks had in spades. Let it run wild.

Chise found herself in a forest, an endless forest from the looks of it. It didn't matter how much she wandered, she never saw anything other than trees. Not a lake, not any housings, definitely not the brugh she lived in with John. She was truly lost and all by herself in it. Not only that but it was so dark outside she could barely see anything ahead of her.

Yet, she wasn't as afraid as most people would be in such a situation. She always knew of the things that lurked in the dark, or even in broad daylight, and seeing them was common for her. The torment had gone for so long she was almost capable of ignoring it all. Even once she started hearing noises coming from between the bushes, she still didn't look afraid.

It was unnerving though, she couldn't deny that. As much as she had been used to it, she still didn't want to die a horrible death at the hands of one of one of those creatures. Still, there was nothing she could do but keep going.

And so, she kept walking forward, tense, but still managing to keep her cool.

Bill was floating, with his hand against his side before he sighed. The dreamer kept moving forwards, ignoring her surroundings and the sound, despite the paranoia he ensured.

Come on—was it so hard for people to just get scared and traumatized? Like seriously, can’t these meatsacks be entertaining in their freaking dreams?

With a huff, he joined his fingers and stressed out his hands, cracking the knuckles. “Okay. Let’s get this over with.” And with those words, he jumped into the dream.

The forest was large and silent. With his powers, he do anything; for this, he simply made himself look like the background but kept his eye plain. The dreamer moved further through the trees but would find that they’d have the feeling of being watched.

Bill liked the quaking aspen trees for one simple reason; they had eyes. And how better to spy on people or freak them out than with that?

Chise just kept walking forward through what looked like an endless path through the woods. All the way through she could hear strange, eerie sounds coming from all over, but yet she kept going, looking around for any signs of other people. Slowly, she was beginning to question whether she was even in Silverwood and whether this was just another nightmare. Hopefully not another person’s nightmare…

Then Chise felt something that made her stop. She looked behind her and saw nothing, but she had this odd feeling that there was someone following after her and watching from the shadows. It didn’t look like there was anything there, but she definitely felt otherwise.

She looked down on her chest and saw the green stone Elias had given her. It allowed her to see things as they truly were once she looked through the hole on its middle. If there was anything trying to hide itself around the forest, they would be found out.

Once she put the stone in front of her left eye, it didn’t take long for Chise to spot something that looked very, very different from an ordinary tree…

The blood red hair was easy to keep a track of, especially when all of his eyes were tracking them. He was just going to get them to freak out a bit, and then he’d go to the next dream. It was a shame that even in a new dimension, the people of this place were as dull as the majority of the third dimension’s population.

He was about to make the dream turn more scary—basically have the vines manifest and eat the dreamer—when he saw the redhead (was it a female? It looked like one, but then again, all meatsacks looked the same) look towards the trees he was controlling with some weird stone.

And she was looking straight at him.

His pupils directly looked at her before Bill made a split decision. “Hiya! How’s it going? Nice dream so far?” He let his voice echo through the dream, not revealing himself just yet. He wasn’t going to say he was twisting the dream/nightmare. If the dreamer was useful, then why not use that to his advantage?

The sight Chise was seeing among the trees was a very odd one. It was a golden triangle person, with only one eyes and cartoonish limbs. This was the kind of abstract thing you would usually once see in dreams, one of the many random things your brain would create while resting. The triangle person then began speaking, outright stating that she was in a dream and asking how it was going.

"Well, there’s… not much going on here." She answered almost unconsciously, as she barely seemed to register the question itself as much as she was focused on the being in front of her. "Um… who are you, Mr. Triangle?"

Considering things had been fairly normal, if a bit eerie until now, this person talking with her clashed heavily with the surroundings, even through color alone, as he was significantly brighter colored than the woods around him. It was like he was displaced from a more appropriate dream and tossed somewhere he didn’t belong in. Then again, dreams weren’t know for being consistent, the other dreams she had visited had made that much very clear.

Yet, Chise couldn’t help but feel like this was different somehow. Perhaps because this was the first time someone seemed to be aware that it was a dream before she did.

Bill slightly frowned at the redhead’s words. What did she mean that ‘not much going on here’? Seriously? Didn’t she feel nervous or anything? Like she was being watched or something was moving in the trees? Either she was brave or just plain stupid. Or both. He was willing to bet both due to his experiences with kids.

At her question, he chuckled at calling him Mr. Triangle. Well, at least she didn’t call him a dorito or worse, an isosceles.

“Please—the name’s Bill Cipher!” He responded, tipping his hat and the world tilted with it before he set it back on his top angle. “That’s who I am. I dropped by since this dream looked interesting. So, you dream of eerie forests often, kid? Dreams can get a little dangerous since the subconscious can make up all sorts of things.”

Bill was a surprisingly plain name for someone who was so unique looking like him, but maybe he wasn’t that unusual where he came from. He seemed to be capable of venturing into dreams like she could, but clearly, he did it intentionally, something Chise wasn’t sure how to feel about. It sounded like such an invasion of privacy for her, but at the same time, she didn’t know how things worked for Bill’s kind.

"Actually… I’m not sure if this is really my dream." She briefly glanced at her surroundings once more, feeling more comfortable now that she knew this was all a harmless dream. "I already live in a forest like this and I know there are monsters living around it, so… this isn’t anything I don’t already deal with on a regular basis."

Whatever creatures her subconscious might be able to come up with, she knew it couldn’t be too much worse from what she already had to face, both before and after arriving in Pandora. Even if it was something awful, at this point she had gotten too used to horrible creatures wanting to attack her, so even if she would be afraid, it wouldn’t be nearly as much as she used to be.

“Wow, wow, wow. Hold up! Did you just say this isn’t your dream?” Bill couldn’t help his voice distorting at the last part, but he’s never, ever met someone that could go into other people’s dreams, at least not without a spell.

Bill teleported right beside the redhead, his eye looking her over to see if he can—well, see something. “You look like you know magic, Red. Is this some spell you used...or is this something you do subconsciously?”

Because if it was the latter...well, this would be very interesting.

Apparently, this kind of thing wasn't very common for Bill, despite being someone who could travel between dreams himself. Was he under the assumption he was the only one with that power? Or maybe he just never came across anyone else who could do it. That made Chise wonder how many people were capable of looking into other's dreams other than the two of them, was it that rare of a power to have?

"Um, my name is Chise." She introduced herself, only realizing she hadn't done so yet when he heard him call her "Red" and feeling a little embarrassed about it. "And this is something that just... started to happen lately. I go to sleep and then I find myself interacting with other people in their dreams, even people I've never met before."

“Chise, huh?” He questioned, tapping below his eye like one would tap their chin. “I’ll try to remember that—but if not, I’ll call you ‘Red’! Hope you don’t mind nicknames, kid.”

He probably won’t remember since there are more important thoughts that need to go in his head than remembering a kid’s name, but this one can walk through dreams! What did she do to get that kind of power?

“Really?” Bill asked, after she said she’d wake up in people’s dreams. Bill hummed a bit before coming to a decision. “So, you’ve never seen Pandora’s dreamworld?”

Chise had never thought of her name as being easy to forget, it was just two syllables, after all. Still, he supposed it wasn’t a problem if he called her something else, other fairies often called her “Robin”, so she had already gotten used to nicknames.

"Well, I guess I haven’t been able to traverse beyond a single dream. I never really tried, honestly…" She began stroking her chin, her gaze going to the floor as she began thinking about it.

The space that connects all dreams, was it even safe for her to go to such a place? There were a lot of people in Pandora, would she even be able to fully comprehend the dreamscape? Bill was seemingly a being that lived in this kind of world, so for him, it was probably nothing special, but what about a human like her?

At her response, Bill gasped in shock, palm flat on his flat surface. “Are you kidding me? You’re missing out on a lot of cool things here, Red!” A little bit of acting, a little bit of mystery…He’d been actually shocked when she said she hadn’t been beyond a dream.

All this power, this potential...and let it go to waste? That’d be criminal.

“And what’s stopping you from trying now? No time like the present, kid! And hey, if you want, I can show you around too! The dreamworld is pretty nice once you know where is what. So, what do you say?” He asked, extending his black hand towards her.

Bill was very vocal about how much Chise was wasting her abilities by not using them to their full extent, which did make her feel a little embarrassed about it. However, she still felt very unsure regarding it, as she was afraid of something bad happening if she tried to push herself further, be it any kind of subconscious damage, or actually hurting her body in some way.

However, Bill was a denizen of this world, so maybe it would be easier to do it with a guide than it would be for her to do it all on her own. Maybe this could allow her to use her dream powers for something more useful in the future too if she learned how to control them.

She reached out to grab Bill’s hand, before pulling back in hesitation for a minute and reconsidering. Finally, however, she powered through her fears and took hold of the little triangle’s hand.

Bill could tell that Red was a timid human—good. Timid usually also meant naive, but he wasn’t going to let his guard down. The Pines’ twins were just two twelve year olds that managed to...well, weave around him in some instances—he refuses to believe that they managed to outsmart him; he’s freaking Bill Cipher!—so, he better watch out for this.

But dreamers; it was interesting to see someone with this kind of potential.

The triangle definitely saw hesitation. But curiosity/determination won through wariness and her hand wrapped around his black hand. Bill was almost tempted to make fire curl around it, like he did with his deals, but he’d rather not have her scared like a rabbit!

“Good choice, Red. Now! Let’s have some fun!” And with that, he shot upwards to the sky and taking Chise with him. They pierce through the dream’s veil and suddenly, they were in the realm of dreams. It looked like a peculiar realm with bits and pieces of Pandora floating around, but one could still see the small bubbles of people’s dreams.

    “Welcome, to the dream world!”

Chise still had reservation about this, but before she could even rethink her decision she was suddenly pulled up by Bill, the tiny triangle being capable of lifting her entire weight despite his tiny size. At first, she was afraid, particularly so once she looked down at the ground and saw it getting further and further away.

And then suddenly she found herself just floating in the air, still holding Bill’s hand and unsure if it would even be a good idea to let go of it. Looking around her, she could see a lot of bits and pieces, almost like the world itself was broken apart and the pieces scattered around while bubbles floated around, almost as if they were underwater.

"Is this where you live?" Chise asked, her eyes darting around as she couldn’t even focus on a single thing in this surreal world.

The triangle’s black hand held Chise’s hand tightly as they shot out of the dream. The dream realm was ethereal—pieces of lands floating around, buildings and trees and planes. Some parts were like entire islands, but one could definitely see winding paths that led elsewhere and nowhere at once.

His single eye looked back at Chise when she asked her question. “Ever since I got to Pandora! It’s definitely a step up from my own dimension—at least it’s not slowly destroying itself from the inside out!” He replied with a laugh as he gathered momentum for them to pass by this side of the realm.

The dream bubbles were of varying sizes and colors and were floating around as if they were actually part of the atmosphere. One could push, poke, probe or not do anything at all. But where was the fun in that?

“So, what you wanna see first, kid? Sights, scenery, the other residents this place has? Though I wouldn’t recommend the latter—they can be a bit...iffy.”

Chise was in such a state of awe and wide-eyed fascination that she barely seemed to register what Bill was saying, she heard something about how his original home was falling apart but... how could a dream world fall apart? Was there something going on like... dreams being destroyed? Was it possible to do such a thing? Well, as curious as she was about it, maybe it was better to not pry, even though Bill seemed to talk about it with disregard for the implications surrounding it.

"Uh, well... I don't know. What would you recommend?" She asked him, figuring that a denizen of the dream world would probably be a more reliable guide than her own instincts.

Bill tapped his side in thought when Chise asked what he’d recommend. Usually, he’d be all for tossing the kid in the traumatizing residents of this dimension. It’d be quite the sight to see someone mentally break into pieces, but Bill was always the one to do it with more...finesse.

“How about we just skip around some dreams for tonight? Let’s leave the other guys to do their own thing—think fast, Red!” He said flippantly, as suddenly he jumped in another dream bubble, dragging Chise with him.

It was actually a mellow dream—a young woman was commanding her own ship and was sailing the seven star seas. Kind of cool, since she had the imagination to use the galaxy as her ocean. “Neat! So, what you wanna do here?”

Chise didn't have time to respond before Bill pulled her into a dream. She found herself suddenly in space, yet able to breathe just fine. Stars surrounded her and, among them, there was a ship sailing across space as if the void itself was the water it needed to move. It was an awe-inspiring view and when Bill asked Chise what she wanted to do there, she honestly didn't know how to reply.

"W-Well... what can we do here? This is that person's dream, right? We can't control anything here, right?" She asked, trying to mask her lack of ideas with a question to distract him with.
