    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Mind-powers: Gifted even among her people, Imra's primary power means she can make mental projections capable of fooling enemies or animals, communicate by transmitting her thoughts control the minds of other beings and gain information by reading other people's minds. She can also engage in psychic combat and is capable of being pushed into activating an explosive mental field called a thought blast.

    Leadership: The daughter of a diplomat and one of the Legion's founders, Imra excels in being a diplomatic leader over a field-commander due to her maturity and compassion. As such, she keeps a cool head in assignments and can see both sides of an argument.

    Combat: Imra has been trained in hand-to-hand combat as a means of self-defense during her years as a Legionnaire. This means that she needs to keep her powers, and when using her ring in combat; agility and maneuverability sharp especially if she wants to fare well in situations and missions that require it.

    Equipment
    Flight Ring: Constructed of metal with anti-gravity capabilities and activated by conscious will power, Imra's ring allows her to fly in both atmospheric environments and outer space through a transparent energy field. It also has an inbuilt holographic comm-system.

    Comm-Buckle: Engraved with a signature "L", each detachable buckle has an inbuilt comm-device and is activated by its owner's touch so it allows them to call for assistance through normal radio channels.

    NPC's Abilities
    Despite the name, Caleb is more of an aquatic based lifeform - meaning he is a good swimmer, hunter and fisher. Also possessing the ability of flight, he can home in on a place that he remembers and transport himself straight there. While he cannot talk, he can communicate over his link with Imra though this means he can only transmit images and emotions to his handler. And their bond also means both Caleb and Imra are sensitive to each other's feelings and location though he can pick up on the feelings of those around him as well.

    WEAKNESSES

    Combat: While Imra's powers are telepathic in nature, she does have training in hand to hand combat, however this doesn't mean she can't be outnumbered and can be injured like anyone else especially if under heavy fire.

    Other Telepaths: Despite her level of abilities, Imra can prove somewhat vulnerable against another telepath of an equal or higher level. Such people can block her attempts to read minds and mentally attack her.

    Thought Blasts: Despite this being one of her attacks, it only reaches a maximum of twelve feet and anyone beyond that range is safe. The mental blast can also overwhelm Imra to the point where she passes out and goes into a comatose state called a healing trance.

    Fire-lizard: While most other caretakers have a similar psychic bond with their fire-lizard, Irma's telepathy makes this bond a little stronger. If anything should happen to Caleb like an injury, Imra automatically feels the same kind of pain and if faced with his death, she could well go into a healing trance while her mind recovers.


    PERSONALITY

    An intelligent, level-headed, and courageous young woman, Imra can be observant, but also practices a lot of self-control due to her upbringing of not using her powers unethically (like entering someone's mind without permission).

    Yet her powers also give her a mild empathy ability and when needed, she can prove compassionate - offering her friends whatever support they need. Kind and with a strong sense of justice, she also dislikes chauvinism, and being seen as a damsel in distress - this in addition to getting treated like a child can push her into losing her temper.

    A mostly calm little creature who can be level-headed and easy to get along with, Caleb has shown a tendency to be more than a little adaptive to any sudden situation he's faced with especially when it means he is more likely to be protecting his human. Also driven by a mix of emotions and instinct, he can be mischievous, fun-loving and somewhat immature especially when he has become interested in something - leading to a habit of hoarding. And finally his lazy side which can come across as him not liking to draw attention to himself and seeming to be as cool as a cucumber especially if he's feeling comfortable around someone other than Imra.

    BRIEF HISTORY

    One of two daughters born to Sydne and Bertor Ardeen, her mother's status as an ambassador representing Titan in the United Planets meant Imra was allowed to become a cadet for the Science Police academy in New Metropolis on Earth at the tender age of ten years old. During her leaving party, her younger sister Jancel would trick her into riding the highest roller-coaster on Titan and picking up on how terrified some of the others riding on it left her with a subconscious fear of those rides.

    While heading there in the first class section, she would meet two boys from a lower-class deck of the spaceship and they would team up to save the life of a billionaire called R.J Brande. This would lead him to fund a new team of young people called the Legion of Superheroes who sought to pick up the legacy of those that came before like Superman.

    Six years later, a group of superpowered villains known as the Fatal Five seemed to know just when the Legion was stretched too thin and began attacking those left on Earth constantly. Seeking help from New Metropolis's original superhero, Saturn Girl and her team-mates Bouncing Boy and Brainiac 5 went back to the 20th Century and convinced a younger Superman to return with them. As a result the Fatal Five's latest attack was foiled and the villains retreated.

    A week later, she was part of the team responding to a S.O.S from Doctor Mar Londo who wanted them to capture a beast. However the assignment resulted in Saturn Girl being kidnapped by the creature after she had used her thought blast on some of Londo's robots. While being held. she telepathically connected with the beast and saw things weren't what they seemed - that the doctor was hiding something. This would later be revealed to be the fact he had experimented on his own son and created the beast, stuck in a half-man, half-wolf form, the young man would leave with his new friends.

    A following mission would include a run-in with a space-station that was powered by people's fears after trapping them in pocket dimensions that appeared as paintings. Tapping into her fear of roller-coasters, the station captured Imra despite Superman's attempt to save her and the three trapped Legionnaires had to be saved by him and Brainiac 5.

    She would also be present when Superman released Drax; a prisoner from the Phantom Zone and would help fight off Drax's pets with mental illusions.

    A later assignment meant Imra was present for Garth being tricked into joining a group he temporarily hero-worshipped despite Saturn Girl being suspicious of them, her teaming up with Lightning Lad to help Brainiac 5 when his mainframe was seriously degrading.

    The next assignment was several Legionnaires dealing with a severe storm-front that threatened Garth's home planet. During this Cosmic Boy returned after several missions and a bit of a recruitment off-world and instantly slipped in to bossing the others around and wanting to keep Saturn Girl out of harm's way. As things got worse, Imra got sick of Rokk treating her like she was helpless and left to calm the inhabitants of Winath down.

    With the planet safe for now, the Legionnaires returned to their base and Imra found herself voting in the election to settle who would lead the Legion.


    ROLEPLAY SAMPLE

    The large area of land sat deceptively quiet and still among the veil of stars. In the distance, something moved then jetted forward, revealing itself to be a young blonde woman...travelling through space without the protection of a spacesuit. Pausing as she hovered in place for a few seconds and her eyes widened. It looked so beautiful, so untouched but tiny pinpoints of yellow lights indicated the presence of civilization below.

    Turning to fly straight towards the biggest patch of lights, she circled it then did a controlled drop. A few moments later, she soared high above the buildings. Faces and voices flashed though her thoughts hard and fast; Tinya, Garth, Brin, Brainiac-5, Chuck, Superman and Luornu. She could almost picture their reactions to her disappearance - especially Lightning Lad's.

    Shaking her head to banish those thoughts, she glanced down as a movement from below caught her attention and reminding Imra that she needed answers - without using her powers. Lowering herself to hover in one spot, her hand moved down and removed the gold belt-buckle engraved with the signature "L" of the Legion of Superheroes before grasping it firmly in one hand and lifting it so it was level with her face. Giving it a single tap to to activate it, the teenager sent a transmission in the hopes that her team-mates were out there somewhere.

    "This is Saturn Girl to all other Legionnaires, where are you right now?" Imra paused and waited for a moment, frowning as she got no reply from anyone and nothing but static crackled over the other end.
