It was only a day ago when Lucina had awakened in the middle of a field after being transported from the Tempest to gods knew where. For the past day, she had done her best to keep herself out of sight, avoiding contact with others as she tried to gather her bearings for what had happened. So far, she had hardly come up with any sort of explanation to tell herself. She wasn't even certain whether she was still inside of the Tempest or whether she was somewhere completely separated from the event.

The princess had decided it was best to continue wearing her butterfly mask over her face as a precaution for whatever may lie ahead for her fate. Her alias "Marth" would also have to do to go along with it. If it so happened that revealing her true identity would bring her into harm's way, the princess desired to steer away from allowing danger crawl to her.

Lucina had yet to encounter any of the inhabitants of the world, but she had seen enough silhouettes in the distance for her to know that she was not alone in a barren wasteland of a world. It contained its own inhabitants who appeared to be civilized from her perspective. At the very least, she had yet to witness anything that suggested otherwise.

Only a day after her awakening, Lucina decided to take a small gamble. She had faith that no matter what happened, it would not be the worst she could imagine, yet Lucina couldn't help but feel the risk that was involved in such a reckless course of action.

What she had decided to do was approach what appeared to be a city of sorts, where no doubt there would be plenty of people. Perhaps she could seek someone's assistance, or at the very least learn more about the situation she found herself stuck within.

With hesitation and Falchion fitted into its sheath on her left hip, the blue haired girl walked into the city she had spotted earlier that day. Upon her entry, she couldn't help but feel as if the city itself had a culture that was almost similar to her own home's, but at the same time, it was clear there were other cultures mixed within the city itself. It was enough to astound Lucina, which was shown only by her slightly gaping mouth as she slowly took in her surroundings.

All of the people within the city left her in a similarly astonished mood as she saw a wide variety of folks, including a few who had things that she had never even dreamed of within her lifetime. "What kind of world is this...?" The princess murmured under her breath as she began to walk deeper into the port town.

She was not certain what her future in the town had in store for her, but that was not something she could question for the time being. Instead, she wanted to keep her focus on figuring out what was happening and where she even was.

Brigitte was back in Cascade Bay again, feeling well and trying to keep herself busy by looking around town by any signs of trouble. For that purpose, she was wearing her full armor just in case she suddenly found herself in a fight. However, so far things seemed to be pretty quiet and nice, so she decided to just enjoy a stroll the town, though she figured she needed to check on Reinhardt soon just to make sure he hadn't gotten himself in trouble again.

It was always interesting to look at the general population around when she was going around town, if only because people in Pandora were so... wildly different from each other sometimes. This wasn't the case with the latest person to catch her eye though, as she seemed to be a normal human girl, but her attire was what got Brigitte interesting. Specifically, it was the mask that she was wearing. It was pretty, but also made her wonder why this person was walking around with a mask in the first place.

They had been walking in opposite directions, so when they were about to run into each other, Brigitte waved at her. "Hej! That's a nice mask you got there. Is there someone hosting a masquerade around here?" She asked, the mask on the lady's face looking much like the ones you would see in such a party.

    Hej = Hi

It was hard for Lucina to not notice the beauty of the city she had come across. The salty scent of a nearby ocean filled her nostrils. Easily, the scent began to relax the girl more, but she continued to keep her guard up as watched the vastly different people who passed her. Some of them glanced back at her, but the mask covering her eyes made it difficult to say for sure whether or not Lucina was staring back at them as they did unless they were clearly out of her sight.

A woman she was taking a glance at was one in what appeared to be a thick suit of armor, yet it was nothing like she had ever seen. Never before had she seen a knight wear armor with such a design. On the battlefield, she had faced and allied with men and women who wore gigantic suits of armor that were nearly impenetrable aside from the spells of mages.

From a glance alone, it almost appeared as if the armor that the woman was wearing would have almost the same amount of defense, but with far greater speed and mobility. Clearly, an expert blacksmith had designed the suit of armor.

To her surprise, that woman had suddenly greeted her with an odd yet fair question. She nearly recoiled from the surprising first words that she would hear, but Lucina regained her composure after a moment. "No, this is simply a mask," She explained to her, putting on a lower voice as if to sound like a boy, "If there is a masquerade, it is not one that I am aware of. This is my first-time arriving in this city."

Well, that was weird. If this person wasn't going to an event of some kind, why the mask? The only reason one would want to hide their face is that they didn't want to be recognized, which usually meant that they were trying to hide from someone and that by itself raised some suspicions. Of course, Brigitte wasn't about to assume that this person was some kind of criminal trying to make their escape, but she kept herself on guard nonetheless.

"Oh, so is this just your first time in Cascade Bay, or are you new to Pandora in general?" She asked, trying to subtly draw some information from her (or was she actually a man...?) so she could have a better understanding of just who this person was.

From an initial perspective alone this person seemed to be dressed in some very fancy looking clothes, kinda like something you would expect from royalty. The problem, however, was that Pandora had a more modern type of government, nothing like kings and queens. So maybe this person was just new to Pandora and the mask had some actual purpose back in her home that was lost in the transition from one world to another. It was about as good of a guess as any, at least.

The princess listened to the modern armored knight without averting her gaze, hoping that retaining eye contact would allow her to focus more upon any subtle hints and details that she would leave for Lucina to use to help herself figure out exactly what her situation was. In a land such as... wherever she was, she knew she'd have to do such. Either that or locate a library to divulge information from any history books that may be written about this land; however, simply speaking with the locals may be enough for the time being.

And already it was paying off: Lucina learned something new. If she was inferring the woman's statements correctly, the city itself must be known as Pandora, and the particular section they were in must be Cascade Bay. It's not as if people suddenly appearing in the country would be normal enough to ask about if they've been there before, right? It must have simply been the chaos of the Tempest that caused her arrival.

Although she knew the names now, she couldn't help but feel as if that was not enough information to be able to properly manage in the foreign land. "You are correct, this is my first time arriving in this city and country," She explained to the woman, "You say it's called Pandora? That's a unique name for a city."

Why was it known as Pandora of all things? It didn't sound as if it would be the name of a city, but rather a person. Perhaps the city was named after them? All Lucina knew was that, for the time being, she should refrain from describing her sudden appearance in a field and instead simply act as if she had come in from overseas, else this woman would believe her to be insane.
