    @Jasmine

Once upon a time Robb had stumbled onto Pandora messing with his perception and emotions. A year previously Robb had stepped out of the portal from Pandora Town to Horizon and had run into his most hate enemy. Only to suddenly feel affection and attraction to the other man. Joffrey was by no means anyone that Robb would ever have emotions for and it had been an utterly confusing moment for Robb. Thankfully things had made a little bit of sense down the road when others had expressed going through similar things with utter strangers. Or with people they knew that made things utterly awkward.

So when he suddenly felt himself staring off in one direction in the same month as the year before, he knew something was up. Despite the fact that it was pulling on him, Robb ignored it. He got ready for work and forced himself to march to work instead of giving into that feeling. The red head managed to get through most of his day before it felt like the feeling was going to overwhelm him. Many of the guard had said the same sort of thing on the weeks leading up to this. A lot reported falling in love of all things.

Robb didn't really believe in love at first sight but that was an entirely different matter. He didn't want to fall in love. Or at least, he thought so. He was incredibly lonely, that much was true, but he could never figure out what he wanted. With a heavy sigh Robb finally gave in, advised those around his office that he was leaving early (for once in his career) and then started to head in the direction that he felt he was being pulled.

Following that feeling, Robb figured that he was headed in the general direction of Cascade Bay. Of course the red head had to turn around at one point to return to the portals, but he managed to stand in the right town from that point. It didn't take him long from that point to walk to the edge of the town where... something or other was waiting. Someone standing next to a weird... well, Robb had never seen a hot air balloon and didn't know how to describe it but he looked around wondering what he was waiting for.

OOC: Hope this works! Lemme know if you need me to change anything!

Once upon a time, in a far off desert castle, the Sultana told a young princess and her tiger cub a story of a potion that made others fall in love with the first person they set their eyes upon. This potion was used to sway the heart of a lovely woman to fall for a man she would have no real reason to love other than the fact she drank a beverage she was offered. She was only able to escape from the spell when the magic faded before the wedding.

So when she saw the store appear in Tavoie Borough, she had an immediate distrust of it. That was until the salesman told her the difference. This potion didn’t force others to love another, more it pulled lover together that may otherwise never meet. It also did not need to be drank by the intended individual, it made the drinker a magnet to the person. It placed the power in her hands so to speak. She would pull her true love to her. Even though her father was not around to enforce the laws of their land and force her to marry before her birthday, she did feel something about the timing of this event. It would seem her next birthday was meant for love, in one way or another.

So on the twelfth of the month according to this “Gregorian” calendar, she decided to pop the cork on her potion and give it a drink. This was just before heading to her little resort trip. She felt “attractive.” More like a magnet than a princess. It definitely felt like it was working. But travelling always took work. Not like there was magic portals people could just walk through. So she spent her days at the resort, celebrating her upcoming birthday. Each day, she felt the pull strengthen. And on the last day before her 17th birthday, she felt like she was practically vibrating.

The arrangements for everything was already planned out for her. She needed to do only a few things for it. She was guided to an airship of sorts, managed by a blonde haired man in a white shirt and blue jeans. She was helped into the basket and was below the visible section, making sure the basket of drinks was secured when she heard someone else approaching. She wanted to make the best impression possible for this so she brought her blue silk outfit from home. She adjusted it a bit, repositioning her jeweled band on her head before standing up in the basket, to get her first look at her “true love.”

Robb never liked these situations. He always felt more than a little awkward in certain social settings and it was obvious that whatever this was... it would be a little private. He didn't know who to expect or what to think about. He had no clue what was in store for him and it was making him anxious. Robb felt like fiddling with his gloves or running a hand through his hair but he also didn't want to appear nervous. Whatever was about to happen he wanted to meet it head on.

Still the red head wasn't quite ready when a woman suddenly stood up in the--- whatever that thing was. Dark hair, dark eyes, and she was a very beautiful woman. But there was something off about all of this. He wasn't exactly happy to see her. It was almost as if there were a surge of emotions he couldn't quite understanding. It was almost as if the rage he should have felt for Joffrey a year previously was suddenly boiling inside of him. As if the woman were Cersei instead of whoever she might have been.

The Commander didn't say anything at first. Just silently stood there and stared at the dark haired woman. Trying to figure out what all of this meant. Why he was feeling these emotions to a woman who he had never met before. Or perhaps there was a little piece of knowledge he had forgotten? Did she somehow remind him of someone else?

He didn't want to be here. He didn't know what was going on but his gaze did not tear from the woman standing up in the basket. Instead he continued to stare, weighing his options. "Do you know... what is going on?" The words were almost ground out of his mouth. Robb did force his hand to move away from his sword hilt though. He wasn't going to threaten a woman without her being the one to start the fight. Still he'd be ready if she did.

Jasmine found these situations a little tiresome. She decided to try her luck at finding true love and this appeared before her. While he didn't have the same tan nor the raven locks hidden as other suitors, he looked none the less like all the other stuff shirt pompous suitors that came to claim her and Agrabah as their prize. Was this her fate? To marry an arrogant fool with absolutely no respect for who she was? She leaned back on the other side of the basket.

The pilot looked a bit awkward as the air between the two was so heated, the balloon may lift off without him. So the moment the man finished what he was thinking and asked what was going on, he stepped over to the door and opened it. A sign in the back of the basket plainly read No weapons on board. We don't want to crash. The pilot stepped in and waited for the man to get in.

Jasmine sighed. As much as she hated this, she did have some experience with trying to remain pleasant during encounters until there was beyond a shadow of a doubt the guy was a saafil (moron). "This is a date, good sir. I drank a potion that was billed to attract your true love to you. The shop told me they arranged a hot air balloon ride to converse and a one night stay at the resort."

Just based on appearances, he didn't look unattractive. He had the rugged features many women would want. He seemed to have a decent build under all the layers. But perhaps the layers told the most about him. In contrast to her silk outfit, he was draped in leather, almost armor. Fur of some animal was draped across his shoulders and he was armed. He most likely didn't have the same problem she had with the winter here. It was like they were.....

There were a number of things that Robb could say about this situation and none of them were friendly. Perhaps it was the fact that this woman was so presumptions to assume that she could find herself her true love with a potion or perhaps it was the fact that he had been drawn here against his will. Either way, he was not happy with it. "I'm afraid there's been a large mistake made then. The fates have laughed at you. I am promised to another and intend to keep that promise." There was a little lie in that fact. Robb had already broken that promise once but that had been of his own drunken will and the lure of a beautiful blonde. Someone who had comforted him in a moment of severe grief and depression. Something he had not repeated since.

Did Robb still hold onto that promise? Of course not. There were far more important things that had to be taken care of. Besides the point that the red head had been in Pandora long enough to understand that the slate seemed to be wiped clean when someone vanished. The purpose of his life here could seem meaningless if he reflected on it too long. It was best to just keep going on the vein he was instead of letting himself get caught up in that brooding spiral all over again.

But he was curious over the hot air balloon ride. He knew that it was unlikely he would be able to ignore this if he turned home at this point. The need to find this location had been downright distracting and the red head would not be able to get any real work done until it was taken care of. Until whatever all this would be. He could use the night and the ride to clear his thoughts on other matters, silently observing more than anything else. This presumptions woman who thought she could dictate fate could natter on on her own if she so wished.

Robb eyed the sign about the weapons but decided he didn't want to part with his sword. "I'm a government official with another town. I assume that should my sword remain in its sheath, minus emergency situations, this would be just fine." He wasn't leaving his sword on the ground for anyone to pick up. It wasn't like he was meeting with a department head on the council or even the governor of Cascade Bay. His weapon would remain sheathed as long as his own life or the lives of others were not endangered. But the badge on his chest indicating his rank should have been all the explanation needed. So he tucked his thumbs into his belt and looked at the attendant, waiting for the man to make a choice on the matter.

"I'm afraid there's been a large mistake made then. The fates have laughed at you. I am promised to another and intend to keep that promise."

No, that made sense. Ever since she came here, there was more or less a inaudible cackle within the wind; seemingly directed at her. She knew, just knew this potion business sounded too good to be true. But she had to recognize that she was more in love with being in love. She stayed in her corner, propped up by the wicker as the pilot looked over to him. The blonde man looked between the two 'lovebirds' before rubing the back of his head. "I have no problum with it, Officer. But are you sure you want a longsword on you in a meter and a half diameter basket six hundred meters above the ground?"

Jasmine looked down to the basket she brought with her. She always imagined flying above the clouds, looking at the Earth below with the one she loved. Instead, her flight was being taken with another arrogant, self important guy. There wasn't any seats inside. Pretty much standing room only. With her long raven hair now draped out of the basket, she saw that he was at least interested in the basket, even if he had been cross with her. The basket was paid for for both of them, as such she would need to hold her tongue for a bit more. "Since we will be here for an hour and I really don't like being addressed as 'you', my name is Jasmine."

"It'll be fine, I promise. I just don't intend to be without it should we need to... defend ourselves." There had been a number of odd things around and Robb did not intend to be caught with his pants down, so to speak. But he was far friendlier with the man than he had been with the dark haired woman. Much friendlier, if only because he did not feel the same sort of surge of emotions towards the man. But the woman spoke up again, insisting that he call her by her name instead of you. As much as Robb didn't want to even know her name, he could understand the need for it. At least if they were going to be stuck with each other for the next day or so.

Robb climbed into the basket with a bit of a sigh and took up a spot as far away from the woman as possible. It wasn't far as there wasn't a lot of space in the basket. Robb just... didn't want to be here. But he felt he had to be and that conflicting emotion was strong enough to make him feel sick. He wanted nothing more than to close his eyes and be done with all of this.

"Robb." One word answers were likely going to be the best. He could hear his mother lecturing him in the back of his mind for his manners, but the red head wasn't going to have any of this. She likely would have lectured the dark haired woman about buying a love potion. Ridiculous! Instead of continuing any conversation the King of the North simply crossed his arms and looked out of the basket, waiting for it to do whatever the hell it needed to do.

Robb really had no idea what he was in for here. He had no idea that things could go up in the air or anything of that nature. What they were doing, he had no clue. The Commander just wanted it done with.

The blonde man could just see that this was going to be a long hour. Casting off the rope he waited till both of them settled into their spots. His hand grabbed the offset chain and handle. And with a pull, the mighty dragon roared a massive breath into the balloon. Fire shot ten feet from the burner into the empty space, heating the air and causing the balloon to jerk up and float upwards. Jasmine was a bit startled at the sudden roar, having never heard anything like that in her life. But after a moment of processing everything, she could look out the side of the wicker and see that they were already floating dozens of meters above the ground and still climbing.

“Unbelievable.” Her voice rang out in an almost romanticized fascination of seeing nothing but air between her and the ground with the latter becoming smaller from her perspective. While she was about an arm and a half away from the most despicable man she had ever met, her wonderment overtook her. She could see the town now over the dunes and let out a small giggle. She could barely see an familiar orange shape running around the grassy area, rolling around like a kitten. Within mere moments they were well into the air. “I have never been so high before. It’s even higher than father’s toy room in the Palace.”

While normally she would have refrained from any sort of hints she was royalty back home, there was equal parts forgetting it because of the majestic scene and informing the red haired guard of her position as well. As the upward drift slowed down, the pilot pulled the chain again, releasing another dragon breath into the balloon and let it drift into the wind current coming off the beach.

Robb had to admit (to himself) that he was not prepared for the damn thing to suddenly lurch and lift upwards. There may have been a moment where he gripped the edge of the basket with one hand to have something to hold onto. Swiftly and tightly, because Robb didn't know what it was like to fly. His feet had always been firmly on the ground, unlike his brother Bran, and he didn't like being in the air all that much. The red head decided that on top of not liking the person he was with (the woman, mind you), that he did not like this situation either.

He preferred his feet firmly on the ground so while the dark haired woman was breathlessly talking about how unbelievable the view was, Robb's eyes were basically firmly shut. He didn't care. He didn't care about her, about this, or about anything. He just didn't want to seem weak in front of anyone so he forced his eyes open and took a breath. It was... certainly a view he had never seen before but his hand did not unclasp from the edge of the basket either. It felt steady in his grip and that gave him enough strength to stay standing for the moment. Blast this woman and her bloody love potion!

And then she mentioned her father's palace and Robb couldn't help but snort. When he had mentioned his rank, it was to do with the current situation and Pandora. He did not go around claiming to be King. He didn't even mention it to anyone if he could help it because it did not matter here. Not that he was a lord. Not that he was a King. He only mentioned the fact that he had led an army in war against a much larger force and understood the need of tactics to his boss when he applied for the role of Commander. To prove what he was capable of. Not the rank. Certainly not that.

After all, he'd just sound like a Lannister and that was exactly how this woman sounded to him. Lannister. Full of herself and who she was, without a thought to her duty. Which was paramount to Robb. By being here he wasn't fulfilling his duty. Granted he had never called in sick before, so it wasn't like he would have too many issues, but it still felt wrong from top to bottom. "Titles do not matter in Pandora. I do not know if you are new, Jasmine, but you would be better off keeping those details to yourself. There's more kings, queens, and royals roaming around than one place can handle and the majority of them seem to think they have similar rights here." Which was not the case and thankfully would never be. He would have murdered Joff if that had been the case. The world was a better place without him in charge.

Jasmine sighed in a rather frustrated manner. If only he could have been quiet and enjoyed the scenery instead of trying to put his words in and make himself superior. Granted, she had done that a little bit before, but now he was trying to claim the moral superiority. Her hair flipped behind her as she had to snatch herself away from the beautiful view and towards a most hatespoke one. “Oh I have but three months here, but that is one lesson I have already learned. The cold is absolutely dreadful. That I am not in the desert Sultanate. Your entire culture is technologically leaps and bounds ahead of my own. I have a home here completely paid for in the Blackhaven District of Pandora Town. I also have employment. Cleaning houses of those in the River Street District.”

Her hands and body were away from the basket itself, she even crossed her arms. With the basket a bit wobbly, she could find her footing quickly enough as she stepped forward. Her face full of determination as she stared right at him, directly into his eyes if he looked toward her at all. “And some titles do seem to matter. Your title of Commander was enough to warrant you to bring a weapon on board this kind man’s air ship despite the obvious sign that forbade it. So wouldn’t that mean you are holding yourself above the rules with your title?”

The breeze of the ocean side sky pushed the balloon along the shore line, hitting the side Jasmine had stood on. It wasn’t a violent shake, just enough to be noticeable that they weren’t just floating upwards anymore, but that they were traveling to the west. The operator was standing back just minding the flame above his head, not dare messing with the fire in the basket. “Are you telling me, that there is nothing from home you are reminded of that is here? No matter the bad moments from back then, that you miss? Yes I am enjoying the view. It reminds me of the view from home. A home I was trapped in because my duty as a Princess was to be married off to some Prince so he may rule.”

The cold is dreadful. Robb could not help his snort in response to that. It was never that cold here. Winterfell had seen worse summers during his lifetime. It was always cold back home and the fact that she thought this weather was cold was basically laughable to a Northerner. But it was difficult to not roll his eyes along with her other statements. Her house was paid for and all that sort of thing. Blackhaven though? That was the worst area in the city. And cleaning houses... well, that was not an arrogant statement. It didn't mesh with the rest of what she was saying and Robb did not fully understand what it meant. So he just kept his mouth shut about it all and continued to stare at the rim of the basket. That was better for him.

She was also missing the entire point of this conversation. "Commander is a title that I have earned in Pandora. It was not my title previously. I feel my duty means I should keep my weapon on me in most situations. As you are a Pandora citizen, should we be attacked by something during the process of the trip, it would be my duty to keep you safe. In an effort to keep good relations with Cascade Bay, I would also protect any of their citizens in the area." That was simple enough and he was speaking about the man who was piloting the balloon. But that was hardly all of it. "And because of my morals, Jasmine, even if they were not a citizen, I would do my best to protect them. I cannot do any of this without a sword." Though he was trying to learn more hand to hand fighting, the majority of what he knew amounted to wrestling, which was not always helpful.

So yes, he was above some rules, but that was because of who he was in Pandora. Not because of who he was back home. There was a difference and Robb would never blur the two. Even as he held himself back from the option of murdering his father's killer, for example. Except right then the basket shook and Robb felt a jolt of fear deep in his belly. The red head tightened his grasp on the basket, his second hand joining the first, and a bit of color drained out of his face while he did so. Robb did not like being airborne. He would never do this again, no matter the situation!

"I'm dead back home. I die a bloody death at the hands of my enemy. I much prefer life to death, so I prefer Pandora." The words were sharper than intended and Robb had never spoken about it before. But they rolled off his tongue all the same. It was the fear speaking, like ice in his belly and down his spine, and his breathing was a little faster than it should have been. He was trying to calm himself but here he was, spilling terrible secrets to this arrogant woman! It didn't matter. She did not matter. Robb just closed his eyes and hoped it would be over sooner instead of later.
