    @Bellamy Blake

The bar was opening in a few days. Middle of October probably wasn't the best month to open a bar on a beach, but Jo really didn't care. This was the best time for her and that was all that really mattered in this project. She had managed to find a couple of people to invest the portions that she wasn't able to front. One of which was an old caravan leader that she had been working with since she had started guarding. Someone who had been around in Pandora for as long as she had. But the other was someone she didn't know too well. A friend of a friend sort of situation. They both had invested and that had made Jo's little odd bubble of potential happiness a reality.

There had been an old building that she had cleaned out herself in the month before, working on her off days from the caravan to clear it out and clean it well so she didn't have to pay someone else to do the job. Money was always going to be an issue from the start. Jo knew that. It wasn't cheap to run the Homestead back home, but it had helped that they had hunters coming through regularly. Jo didn't know if that was going to be the case here in Pandora though. Hunters seemed... varied in this world. They wouldn't ban together in the same sort of way.

Still the blonde knew that it was going to take money to get the place up and run. Hiring the first set of employees. Getting all the furniture. The water and the heat turned on. Stocking the bar. Polishing everything up. And here she was just a few nights from all of it running. She was seated at the bar on one of the leather stools, with most of the lights off, just concentrating on the beer she had poured in front of her. Looking over all the details in the room that she had carefully thought about. All the little details she didn't know she'd need until they were shoved in her face, really.

Which made her think about her mother, of course. About all these things that her parents would have thought about when they were setting up the Homestead back home. Which made her a little lonely. Which lead her to text Bellamy Blake, inviting him over. Because that was the smart thing to do, right? Get a friend to look it over and give his opinion before opening night. Not that it would matter too much, it was too close to opening night to change much, but she hadn't had time to spend with him since really deciding to do this. Being a business owner had somehow made her almost as busy as she had been while she had been a caravan guard. But she had quit that as well, leaving her with an open night and some anxiety.

Jo had given him some general directions in the invite, then set her phone down so she wouldn't stare at it until he replied. Either he did or didn't. He could have been busy. Bellamy had a life outside of Jo, that much she was very aware of, but that had primarily been because of her own choices and now that she was settling, she wanted to be a bigger part of his life. Just one step at a time. Jo settled in and closed her eyes, finishing off her beer while trying to figure out if anything was out of place in the new Homestead.

Waiting to hear back from Jo was always a struggle. Maybe because of the underlying fear that he might not hear back from her at all, which was why he admittedly had to keep himself from responding to her texts with too much overwhelming eagerness. Because that might look, what? Desperate? It wasn't even that he wasn't busy, because, shit, he was busy with the Saviors. Busy making sure that the new authority in Morhall didn't suddenly decide that the Saviors didn't really belong there, too, despite them being the entire reason the town had some of the advancements that they had.

Sometimes he honestly did need to step away from it all, though, which was why he'd been so especially relieved to hear from Jo. She wanted him to come by the new bar in Cascade Bay and, shit, nothing could ever have sounded better than that. So he'd agreed. Given it a few minutes, at least, before sending back and response, and then got the hell out of Morhall. He wasn't a fan of the portals that were set up between town. Few knew about the shitty experiences he'd had with them since arriving in Pandora, but he sure as hell knew and he wasn't gonna risk some sort of freak malfunction that took his leg between here and there.

So he took a clockwork bus. The trip was longer, especially given the distances between Morhall and Cascade Bay, but he got there and that was what mattered. Besides, some days he was actually alright with the long rides.

"I like the sign." That was the first thing he said as he pushed open the door to Jo's new establishment, finding her sitting there at the bar with a beer. It was empty, but there wasn't a single doubt in his mind that would be changing after opening day. Hell, this place was gonna be hopping. "The one outside? I like it," Bellamy added, gesturing over his shoulder with a grin.

It was a bit of time before Bellamy showed up. Unlike the biker gang leader, Jo didn't mind the portals. The blonde hadn't had any troubles using them and she had taken them plenty of times while trying to line up with the head of a caravan that had hired her over the Starknet with a pick up in another town. It was easy enough for her to walk through them.

So she had finished her first beer and was well into her second before the front door to the bar opened and Bellamy walked through. She turned towards him with a small smile on her lips, watching him walk up to the bar. It was nice to see him, to lay her eyes on him without any hint of drama behind their interaction. No regrets, oddly, because they were finally moving in a way that made sense.

"One of the few things I got brand new." Most of the stuff was second hand, but repaired and polished up in various ways. It had been cheaper that way but Jo had worked hard to find the right pieces. The blonde really had been some serious elbow grease into the situation. The only way she knew how to work really. But there hadn't been a "Roadhouse" sign before. That had been custom.

"Its just like the one back home." Or at least, as close as Jo had been able to describe it. It felt right though, like most of the place did, which made her happier than she had been in Pandora before. Things were settling. Things were nice. "Course my mom would probably tell me how to make it better, but that's just how she is." Jo reached over the bar to grab another beer, putting it at the seat next to her. He was going to have to have a drink, because it was the most obvious perk one could have for being close to the bar owner, right?

It was honestly really nice seeing her like this. Busy but at ease. He felt that way, too, since he'd taken over the Saviors, and he had some big shoes to fill after Negan's disappearance, but it could have been going worse. They'd lost members of the group, people who had issues with him, but things could have been going worse. They could've been going better, too, but couldn't they always?

It was also nice to watch her mention her mom without pausing to think so hard. After all, that kind of wound lasted a long time. Bellamy knew that from experience, but he and Octavia had also been a lot younger when their mother had been floated. Still, everything he was seeing was honestly really healthy and he could tell that this place was exactly what she wanted.

"That's what moms are for," he said with a little smirk as he slid up to the bar and onto the stool beside her. "She'd be proud, too, though, I bet." Bellamy let his gaze stray to his surroundings once more before looking back to Jo again. "I gotta say, I'm feeling a little proud on your behalf, if that counts for anything."

Taking a sip of the beer she'd provided for him, Bellamy nodded with approval and cast a grin in her direction. "And you got the good stuff, too. This place is gonna be full on opening night. And apparently the only competition you've got is that Devil's Nest place, and, with that name ... ?" Scrunching up his nose and shaking his head, it was clear Bellamy thought this was a no brainer.

Her mom, proud of her? More than likely. Her mother had always made sure that Jo understood that she was proud of her. At least when they weren't arguing and yelling at each other. They had managed to work something of a healthy relationship out before they had also stupidly decided to try and help the Winchesters with taking down Lucifer. But that was a minor note in this over all situation. Because she hadn't seen a Winchester since her first week in Pandora. Which helped the situation greatly. Otherwise Jo might have shot Dean Winchester right between the eyes.

Instead she had wandered around. She had survived through some really bad situations. She had handled her own. Hunted in Pandora. She still made a difference. And everything when she was kidnapped with Octavia? That had finally broken through those walls that the blonde had in place. Oddly it had helped.

She felt better about life right then and there. It was weird how content she felt. Even if Jo wasn't entirely comfortable with that feeling. It was too foreign to be that comfortable yet. But the hunter was willing to let it be for the moment. To see where it went.

"There's more than enough people in the place for two local bars." Jo was saying it lightly but she honestly hoped that she smashed through any competition. She really wanted this to work. It was a good thought because it was also healthy. Wanting something to grow like this was healthy for her. "Besides a bar on the beach is something I'm really looking forward to. Going to spend my off time in the sun for once." Instead of dark caves and abandoned warehouses. Mostly.

"Was that another jab at Morhall?" Bellamy asked, and he might've sounded a little defensive, but there was a grin on his face that suggested something else entirely. Shit, he could've said a lot of the same things. He wouldn't have minded living in a place like Cascade Bay, but he had obligations in Morhall and despite the cons that came with living in what was essentially a glorified cave, somehow the place had come to have a special place in his heart. Maybe it was the way the Saviors had been able to make a difference there.

He sure as hell didn't blame her, though, wanting to settle down somewhere that wasn't with him in Morhall and given the fact that he couldn't just drop everything and move here to be a little closer to her, it would have been hypocritical of him to ask her to do that for him. Bellamy didn't even know if that was a part of what she might've wanted. Shit, at this point, he didn't know what their relationship was. There'd been a wedge in there and everything that The Governor had done had torn that wedge away.

What was left now? He didn't even know anymore.

"So, what're you feeling? Excited? Nervous? Brimming with pride?" he asked, taking another sip as he side-glanced her. Because he sure as hell wasn't gonna ask about them. About anything more personal. Dredging up the past didn't seem right, not when Jo was looking to the future. And, dammit, Bellamy was really good at dredging up the past.

Another jab at Morhall? Probably. She thought it was pretty funny that Bellamy was basically staying in a cave. When there were houses and all that just about anywhere else. Horizon even had houses now instead of just tents and that was a pretty cool thing. Never mind the fact that some of their houses were technically carved out of the walls. That was still better than the entire place being in a cave system like Morhall was.

The only thing that seemed to be missing were the Blake siblings. Jo had settled into Cascade Bay. She had gotten herself a place. Had the bar now. She just didn't really have friends or anyone she was close to outside of them. Bellamy and Octavia were... well, they were kind of all Jo had. She hadn't exactly said that to either of them. Hadn't made it a big deal or made it emotional.

"I think its a bit of everything." All those emotions rolled into one. Which were decently happy emotions, except for the nerves. But that was natural. She was alright with a little bit of stress in her system. That was healthy. Good for survival. "Its nice though. Feels right." She was speaking in a softer voice than normal. Her hazel eyes were lit up as she let her gaze wander around the bar again. Jo couldn't quite get enough of it.

Jo was being a little more vulnerable with Bellamy, even if she wasn't talking about anything about the past. This bar was personal for her. The fact that Bellamy meant so much to her was personal for her. The fact that he was here before the bar was even open showed that. She trusted him. Maybe not all the decisions he had ever made but it wasn't like they were living together. They could manage with this much for now, right? "So, are you going to b e a regular?" She was flirting in that round about way of hers. Awkward, but considering everything that had happened between them... it was a good baby step for now.

Watching her now, Bellamy wasn't sure he'd ever really seen her like this. The way she looked around, the way her eyes lit up like it was just sinking in that this was all hers, that this place was hers, and that she'd been the one to make it happen. That was a special thing, and maybe Bellamy didn't have any real idea of what it felt like. He couldn't exactly take credit for The Saviors. Shit, the only things he could take credit for were, well ... things he didn't want to remember. Things nobody wanted to remember.

Maybe the time apart had been good for both of them. Bellamy remembered easily how she'd made him feel. He'd ached. Ached to feel good again, ached to feel something other than the reality of what he was, ached to feel her and to lose himself with her. But she'd also been a heavy reminder of every bad decision he'd made, every wrong judgment he'd acted on, and of how fucked up he'd become just trying to make things right and better.

Tonight, though, he wasn't thinking about any of that. He was looking at her and this place and swelling with pride for her. Hell, Bellamy Blake envied her, and maybe he'd felt bitter for walking away, but the rest of him felt envious for the fact that she'd been able to do that at all.

Bellamy couldn't seem to walk away from much of anything.

"A regular?" he asked, brows perking up as his shifted his gaze to the bottle of beer, lifting it just enough to turn it around and inspect it as though that was gonna be the deciding factor. In the end, he shrugged his shoulders and then turned to her, grinning. "If I said yes, would that be a good thing? Or would you be kicking me to the curb? Not that I'd blame you, there are gonna be a lot of people in here." People. Guys.

Why would she ever kick him to the curb? Well, she had at one point. Jo had to give that to Bellamy. There had been a point in their relationship where she had worked hard to cut him entirely off. Mostly because she had been afraid of her emotions where Bellamy was concerned. She had been afraid to have anything real in Pandora because she was so scared that it would all be taken away.

In her defense she had been right about a lot of things that Bellamy had been involved in. There had been a lot of bad situations that the man sitting next to her had somehow stumbled into. The hunter still wasn't sure what Bellamy had ever done to piss off fate the way he had, but it came for him hard when it wanted to. And yes, Jo had gotten wrapped up in those situations despite her best efforts. But in the end everything was alright. They were all alive and that was what mattered the most.

"I suppose that depends on whether or not you're a paying customer." She still thought they were flirting. Still thought that maybe Bellamy was trying to tease her back or something. It had been a very long time since the blonde had tried to flirt with anyone. She was rusty and out of practice, so bad she couldn't even see Bellamy's nerves on the subject. Couldn't get what he was hinting at.

"You'll always have a seat in here if you come round often enough." Frequently, if Jo had anything to say about it. But the blonde wasn't exactly confident enough in Bellamy's side of the emotions to say anything like that out loud. Not quite bold enough to go that far despite the fact that she wanted to.

Maybe she wasn't catching on to what he was saying, what he was hinting it. Or maybe his words hit a little too close to home as far as their history here in Pandora was concerned, but they were still going in a direction Bellamy considered good. Anywhere but backwards was good in his books given just how many times he had found himself going the other way in the past. He didn't want that anymore. Bellamy didn't want life to keep going in that direction.

"That bar in Morhall's shit," he admitted after a moment, shrugging a shoulder absently before taking yet another sip from his bottle. "Where else am I gonna get my fix?" Bellamy's gaze flicked back to her again and he smirked. He didn't mean the alcohol, not completely, though he wasn't sure whether or not she'd realize that.

This was exactly what he'd missed, and Bellamy couldn't remember the last time things had been like this. Not so damn emotional. There was some in there, of course, because he felt it every time he looked at her, but it was different. He wasn't chock-full of bitterness and longing. Maybe just a little bit of the latter, but it wasn't the kind that was leaving him feeling completely hopeless.

That was it. Everything about this seemed hopeful. That they were doing something right here.

Where else am I going to get my fix? Was he talking about her? Jo really hoped that he was talking about her. He could have been talking about a good number of things but chances were, he was talking about her. She would have to be stupid to think otherwise, right? Except there was a chance that Bellamy could decide to pull away from her in return. It'd be fair after what she had done to him. Jo would be hurt but she'd live with it. It would just send her back down the dark path she had been headed down before.

"There's got to be about five hundred different bars in Pandora Town." But none of them would have her. Not anymore. This was the only bar that Jo was ever going to lurk in. It was going to be her life from here on out. Her heart and her soul, right here in Cascade Bay. At least from a job and hobby aspect. She was still going to hunt. She was still going to... look for Bellamy at the bar most nights.

"Plenty of places for your to drink or find a pretty woman to sit in your lap." She smirked at him, knowing exactly what she was suggesting. She wanted to sit in his lap. She wanted a lot more than that as well. Jo wasn't sure if he was open to that though. Considering everything that had happened with the Governor, it was likely that a woman may not have wanted to be touched at all. But the man had been more interested in torture than anything else. He had only really done things while sending Bellamy tapes.

So she was fine. She was perfectly fine and missing Bellamy instead. Missing that night that they had had together. Where everything felt good. Everything felt right. The blonde wasn't scared of it anymore. She wanted that. She wanted them. The real question was Bellamy. At least in her mind. Did he want them too? She glanced at him, wondering if he would make room for her to come over or not.

Even if this weren't Jo's place, even if she weren't the one running it, even if she weren't even remotely involved, Bellamy wasn't sure he'd ever find himself at a bar in Pandora Town again and if he did, it would have had to be for a very specific reason. He couldn't say he was the biggest fan of the place, especially after how Providence and The Governor's bullshit excuse of an imprisonment had been handled. There had been a reason he'd decided to leave with Negan, and there had been a reason leaving hadn't involved settling down into part of Pandora Town.

So he could definitely say he was relieved she'd decided to choose Cascade Bay. Because, well, if she'd in Pandora Town, that would've been excuse alone. If things were okay, if things were even just a little better and she wanted to see him, then he would find a way to see her.

"That's funny. Because I see a pretty woman in front of me right now," he said, a faint smirk tugging at his lips as he watched her. It was almost daring, really, letting those words come out of his mouth. It was almost daring, the way he shifted back slightly in his sight as though letting that be an invitation to her.

The longer he looked at her, the more he found himself aching for her and something like the night they'd had together all those many months ago. That had felt like a lifetime ago. It had been just after the Saviors had formed, just as they were moving into Morhall. So much had changed before then. And so much had changed after, and he didn't know where they stood anymore. He didn't know if he still thought back to that night the way he thought back to that night.

But he hoped. He could hope.

Perhaps it was a little lame. She wasn't trying to toot her own horn or fish for a compliment, but it was always nice when the guy you liked thought you were pretty. Attractive at the very least, even if Jo thought that the word "pretty" was a little feminine for what she normally rolled around in. Blood and grave dust was a little hard to make pretty, doubly so in a pair of boyfriend jeans and hiking boots.

Why hadn't she dressed up a bit? Probably because that would be trying too hard. Because that would be putting in too much effort for possibly being rejected. But the longer this was going on, the more confident Jo was feeling about it all. Which probably was a very normal thing but it wasn't like the blonde had a lot of experience at flirting. Just hunters at her mother's bar thinking pizza and a six pack would let them in her pants.

Bellamy had never assumed anything. He had always tried to do the right thing based on the choices he had in front of him. That didn't mean he always made the best choices but his heart was in the right place and that mattered to Jo. It mattered a lot to her.

So her smile twisted a little bit when he suggested she was the pretty woman in question. Or sort of. Her stomach did that giddy little kick thing and her heart decided to beat a little bit faster. There was some sort of biology science related question here that would have been able to explain what was happening to her body right then and there, but Jo had slept through those classes.

Instead she pulled herself off of her stool and gently slid into Bellamy's lap instead. That little thrill happened again, as if her stomach was trying to twist itself in knots. The hunter took a bit of a breath then leaned into him, softly reaching up to kiss him. This was what she wanted. This was why she had invited him over. Jo wasn't running anymore. He could come find her any time he wanted. No matter the reason.

She liked that. He could see it immediately on her face that she'd enjoyed the compliment, liked being called 'pretty'. He had to wonder how often she heard that, given her line of work, which was bullshit. She always looked gorgeous, he'd known that since the day he'd met her, but it hadn't grown to really mean something until some time later. And then he'd thought it didn't mean anything at all, because she didn't want him.

    But she did. Right?

If she hadn't, she wouldn't have smiled at him like that, reacted the way she did. If she hadn't, then she wouldn't have slid off of her stool and moved closer to him so that she could claim her seat right in Bellamy's laugh. A smile twitched at the corners of her lips, a little bit lopsided as though he had somehow fully anticipated this would be the way things went. But he hadn't. He hadn't anticipated it, he hadn't anticipating anything. He'd just hoped.

And that was exactly the reason he felt this great swell of relief and satisfaction amongst the distinct sense of butterflies in his stomach when she reached up to press her lips softly against his. Bellamy could feel his heart pounding in his chest, but the shock of it faded away after a couple of seconds and he smiled against her lips, pressing into the kiss for a moment before pulling back. Just slightly. Just enough to feel her breath against his skin as he smiled. "Do you know how long I've been waiting for this?" he asked, a teasingly impatient edge to his voice.

They were probably too old to feel this awkward about each other. But Jo couldn't control her emotions any more than any other person seemed capable of. This was just who they were. Who they were going to be until they got this all figured out. Jo wasn't going to lie to herself. Relationships were always work. It didn't matter the type of relationship or who was involved. They were always work because when you cared about someone things got complicated.

Bellamy didn't try to shove her off his lap. Didn't react in any sort of negative way. Instead he kissed her back and Jo felt like she was soaring for a few moments. All the blonde needed to concentrate on was this. All she needed to worry about was this. It was really all she had wanted for awhile, or rather the tip of the iceberg that she had been after.

Do you know how long I've been waiting for this? He had pulled back just a touch. Jo laughed a little because she could easily imagine exactly how long Bellamy had been waiting. "I think I can guess." She had wanted it too but her fears had gotten in the way. So despite the fact that they had wanted the same thing for probably the same sort of time, Jo was the reason why it hadn't happened sooner. At least in her mind.

"Better late than never?" There was still a little worry. Jo was still a bit worried that Bellamy would have somehow resentful of it all. But she wanted this. So if he was game, so was she.

She laughed and Bellamy couldn't help but breathe one of his his own out, too. Jo knew exactly what he was talking about and there had been bitterness for some time. Bitterness and frustration, and understanding with a desire not to care about that understanding because of how much he felt he needed her. But all of that bitterness had melted away some time ago and been replaced with some sort of contentment to let life happen.

Whether or not this was a part of it.

But she wanted it, too. Just for right now? Just for tonight? Or something more than that? Bellamy didn't really know and he was almost afraid to ask, afraid to ruin the moment, so rather than say anything, he simply closed the distance between them and captured her in another passionate kiss, shifting in his seat just enough to carefully rise from it, his hands slipping beneath her to lift her with him, guiding her onto the counter.

Bellamy heard the clatter of his beer to her right, though, and suddenly pulled away, muttering a swear under his breath as he reached for the bottle, which was already very slowly leaking that precious alcohol over the bar.

Everything was going to work out alright. Jo couldn't be sure of much anymore but she was starting to understand that Bellamy wasn't going to run away from her. This was what he really wanted. She wanted it too. Apparently he wanted it enough to kiss her again and pick her up. His motions going from gentle to something far more confident. Maybe he had just been looking for that little acknowledgement from her too.

Onto the counter they went. Apparently all they needed was a little bit of the go ahead from each other because Jo was pressing herself against Bellamy. Her hands moving up his shoulders and into his hair. She liked his hair. Liked putting her fingers through it. She liked the way he kissed and liked the way he thought.

But she was just as startled by the noise of the beer suddenly tipped over. It had been mostly full which meant there was a good amount of beer on her brand new bar. And as much as she would like to just passionately ignore it, she was the actual owner. This shit now mattered to her.

So she let out a soft sigh as Bellamy already righted the bottle, then wriggled slightly until she slipped out from where he held her. "Well, at least you're the first to spill on it." There would be countless others but as long as they were cleaned up pretty quickly, it wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Jo grabbed a rag and wiped down the counter as quick as possible. Once it was clean she smiled at Bellamy again. "You know I finally got myself a place too. Wanna see it?" They weren't paying attention to the bar anymore so what was the point in staying here?

Leave it to him to fuck up something good like that particular moment in time. It could've been either of them, really, moving just enough to knock the thing over, but Bellamy didn't have any regrets either. He'd learned a lot since the moment he'd walked into this bar. Namely, the fact that what he wanted wasn't wishful thinking anymore. She'd come to him, which was-- well, it felt new. It felt like something that he never thought would ever happen again, it felt like something that had been done with a long time ago after she'd walked away.

But here she was, and there he was. And maybe it would work. Maybe this was it, maybe it would actually work.

As frustrated as she seemed by the interruption, Bellamy was grinning as he stepped back, letting her slip out where he'd had her. The moment was over, but it wasn't over. It didn't feel like it was over, it felt like the start of something good, something that he had been wanting for a long time. Her. There had been Negan, there had been The Saviors, there had been that ever slowly fading idea of vengeance vengeance vengeance. And then there had been Jo Harvelle. Fucking Jo Harvelle.

"Your own place? It's not a literal caravan, is it?" he asked, arching a brow, a teasing edge there.

So maybe she was going out on a limb here but Jo was pretty confident he'd say yes. Pretty confident he'd take her up on it and agree. Say yes so that they could continue this elsewhere. A grin lit up her face as Bellamy teased her. He could do that all he wanted. She liked the way he spoke. Liked the way he was looking at her really.

Jo had her own place which meant that she had things there. No longer staying in hotels meant she had things like beer back at her place. And a couch. Though the couch was new and not exactly the most comfortable thing in the world yet but it was hers. "I think you'll be impressed." She might have even had snacks.

Not that they would have time for snacks but Jo thought it was pretty cool all the same. She had a home. She had a bar. She was a business owner. And now she wanted a boyfriend. As long as Bellamy was good with that, that could be him. "Come on. I actually lock the door." Even though there were far too many superpowered sorts that could just break through. Sometimes it was the little things that could stop them.

From there Jo moved to the door, holding it open so Bellamy could walk through. If he wanted. There was still plenty of time for him to change his mind if he felt like it but Jo was feeling more confident with every minute that passed.

That stupid grin on her face was contagious, his only grow a fraction more. He liked that look on her. He liked that look more than any other, and he'd seen a lot. He'd seen hurt and he'd seen indifference and he'd seen anger. He'd also seen nothing. But that one, the kind that said they were alright, the kind that said they were going in the right direction and maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't fuck it all up this time -- that one was his favorite on her.

The bar itself was in the back of his mind now as she remarked about the door she actually locked. God, she may have been talking about one thing, but Bellamy's mind went somewhere else entirely as evidenced by the little laugh that escaped his lips as he glanced away. "You do, do you?" He'd missed her. He'd missed so many things about her.

It wasn't just the things he wanted to do, though. It wasn't just that he wanted to hold her or to kiss her again, he was genuinely proud of her for taking this step in her life in Pandora. And he wanted to see her new place because he wanted to see Jo in what she would have considered a comfortable home for herself.

So he barely missed a beat as he followed her to the door, stepping through turning to watch her as he moved a short ways backward. Bellamy never did take his eyes off her even as she locked up behind them.
