What kind of plots/threads do you prefer?
I'll definitely listen to any kind of plots! My favorite are ones that further both character's interests. Something like a major event that might change how my character is played/how they interact with people. Of course: I know we can't all have those threads. But anything where my character ends up growing is a bonus.
How do you prefer to handle combat and injuries?
It depends on the character. Some characters are more highly-skilled than others. Someone like say: Sebastian? He can move faster than your bullet and heals almost-instant. However: he has weaknesses to holy and blessed things, and salt, cause he is a demon.
I do NOT mind if my characters get hurt. In fact: when plotting a fight I will let you know what my character's weaknesses and strengths are. I expect them to get hurt, but if I get a plot where the person is like 'lol my character is gonna beat ur ass cause they always win fights!' I'm probably going to decline. My character gets hurt, your character gets hurt, we can decide in the thread who wins ultimately.
How do you prefer to handle relationship development (friends, enemies, romance, etc.)?
I thread and see how the character feels. If your character is noxious to mine, we are probably going to be enemies. If they get along well, able to shoot the shit with each other, they can be friends. If they want to touch the butt, they are going to touch the butt. I'll usually PM people if I'm not too sure how the relationship is going. Like: my character wants the booty, does yours?
What are your post length preferences?
On average, I will write out a full page on Microsoft word. That usually maxes at 500 words, or maybe 250. I will definitely start to match your post-length, so if you write short posts, I'm probably going to start writing short posts. If you write long posts, I'm probably going to write long posts. I don't really care so long as the thread continues at a normal pace.
How often do you like to reply to threads?
Ideally: I will reply once a week. If I have more time: I'll post every day. I work in education, so you can already tell that Winter/Summer/Spring Breaks are going to be post-havens for me, unless I'm going out of town. Meanwhile: mid-November and mid-March I'll probably slow my posting. Cause that's end of quarters/finals I've got to prepare and prep for. Job always comes first, mydudes.
I will wait for-ever for a reply. I'm serious: I am the most patient person in the world when it comes to replies. My muse might not be as strong, you might not get the longest post back, but I will eventually reply back and I'm totally cool with that. Like above: I'm totally understanding of people's personal life. And if its a great thread, it'll be a nice little surprise in my day when you do reply! I'm always happy when that alert button appears!
Spontaneous or Pre-planned plots?
I like stuff being planned for plots. I like knowing what my character is getting into, what to expect, how it will end. Spontaneous plots might end poorly, or might put my character into a situation I don't want them in. Just give me some idea of what is going on, and what we are doing, mmkay?
