By what luck that had made sure Midna and her companion had been far away from the carnage as it ensued, she did not know. But she was grateful for it, and whatever grand scheme it was part of, she was not a fool to toss safety back in the face of what luck they had come across it for now. Of course there were others around, others that the pair had come to usher out of homes, scattered buildings mostly looking abandoned though there were always at least a few people to come out of each. They were all off on their way, though to where they were going to run to and away, untouched from how the world seemed to be falling apart, the princess did not know and did not feel the same urge to run and hide in the same fashion.

"Its the end of the world..." The red head whispered, standing beside Bull quietly with her wolfo at her side and her hand resting atop its head. Her fingers worried through the fur, tugging just slightly and earning a yip which made her immediately pull her hand back, apologising softly as she smoothed over the afflicted spot apologetically.
"At least... I have good company at the end of the world." Midna murmured, reaching her other hand out and sliding her fingers through between the man's own hands, feeling his skin beneath her palm as her eyelids for the smallest of moments closed. How much longer did they have until the disasters wrecked them, as far as the fields they stood in with one another?

Maybe this would be when she'd finally return back to her own world, and so would Bull, the thought enough to leave her gripping the man's hand that little bit tighter.

The Chargers were doing there best, morale was lowering but Bull was still making them move forward and help anyone they could while they got through the fields, they took civilians with them, clearing out the armory wagon of any non essentials and then having the essentials be carried by the pack animals, two big lizard creatures packed full of gear and bags of food. The armory cart was being used to carry what civilians they could find, they just wanted avoid anything that could fall on them or cave in beneath them. They just wanted a place to wait out whatever was happening, did Bull think everything was going to end? No he had to look towards this all blowing over so he and Midna could spend more time together, so the Chargers could become something bigger. He needed to believe they were going to survive. He felt her hand squeezing his and looked down to her, his mechanical hand swept over and pushed some hair from her face. He leaned down and kissed her. "Don't speak like that Kadan...we just have to ride this out." Still it was hard to deny what was happening around them. He drifted away from her for just a minute, going into his wagon and grabbed a box from there. He came out with his hand closed around something and the top half of a tooth strung to a length of silk cord around his neck. Then he opened his palm to show a necklace made from the other half of the tooth, the tip of the fang. It was large, from a dragon they'd dealt with weeks before. Bull grabbed her hands and slipped the necklace onto her.

"In my culture we don't show love through words, when the time comes we break a dragon tooth in half and wear half. That way I know that no matter what comes between us, we are always together. Kadan." He cupped her face and brought her into another kiss, leaning down to reach her, he pulled away and rested his forehead against hers. "My heart."He stayed like that for a few moments before pulling back. "We need to get these people to safety."

She knew he was right. Midna needed to have a little more faith that they were definitely going to get out of this, to believe in a better tomorrow should Pandora allow them to even have one. Sighing softly to herself, the princess felt a cool replace Bull's warmth and presence when he let go of her hand, the princess wrapping her free arm around herself whilst looking at the doomsday horizon ahead of them.

When Bull returned she was surprised to find he had something for her, the woman tilting her head a little in curiosity whilst looking from his necklace to the one he showed in his unfurled palm. Strange thing to keep around your neck, she thought, but then she'd remembered seeing Link wear a thing or two she'd never understood either.

"Bull-" Midna began, confusion clear in her voice as she felt his big hands fasten the neck into place. Looking down at the half tooth, she realised it was indeed the other half to his own, the princess thumbing over the smooth, pointed surface curiously before her face was held and her lips kissed this once more. Allowing herself the moment, Midna closed her eyelids and placed her much smaller, blue hands over Bull's own against her cheeks, his explanation making her old heart do terrible jumps and dives as did her stomach.

It was a sort of preemptive goodbye and hello all at the same time, something she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to have anyway. But she took it, Midna smiling to herself as she kissed him back for a moment and then settled back down on her heels once more. Even Wolfo gave Bull an affectionate nudge with its head, giving the princess time to wipe at her uncharacteristically watery eyes before she cleared her throat.

"Let's go." The woman murmured, whistling for her wolf to follow before heading out to do as promised.

Bull smiled when he saw the wet in her eyes, getting a rare set of teas from her was impressive to him, and she beautiful even when she was crying. His fingers carded through Wolfo's shadowy pelt, he grabbed his axe and followed her towards the caravan. He let out a bellow to him men. "Chargers! Load up those carts and get those people in them! Mount up and form a protective line around the caravan!" Bull helped get the last of their civilian charges into their wagons and helped pack the animals with the stuff they could carry from the armory wagons they cleared. Bull motioned for Midna to join him into his wagon, he'd opened up the roof so he could take aim with his canon or his crossbow. He swung one panel next to his bed up and slid it back, giving him another spot to aim out of. Bull made sure everything that would slide was kept in trunks or drawers and pulled up the stairway and locked the door to make sure it stayed secure. He peeked up through the hole. "Chargers! Horns up!" He slammed his fist against the roof and the caravan started, they were gonna try and make their way to the desert to avoid any possible floods and keeping close to the edge of the sands to try and avoid the sandstorms. The woods were out, too may tree's to fall and crush them.

Bull stepped back down into the wagon. "We should make good time so now we gotta be on look out for any bandits." Bull peeked out the side opening and sat on his cot. "But...if it gets slow we could always seal this back up for just some time to focus on each other." He smirked at Midna

Helping where she could, Midna ushered people along and listened to her lover give out orders which people wordlessly followed more than happily. Bull was a leader to say the least and it showed with the auctoritas that oozed from him and the princess would be lying if she said she didn't find that attractive about him as well. Joining him in the wagon, Midna kept out his way as he saw to his weapons before she turned to look at the people beginning to follow them, the mention of bandits making her look up before she waved it off a little bit.

"They won't-" About to tell him that they weren't going to come after them when they saw what she could do, the woman was paused as Bull was back to his usual flirting self instead. Snorting and narrowing her eyes a little, the princess gave him a hard shove before feeling the wagon beginning to move on and out too. With a sharp whistle, Midna had sent her wolf to follow among the wagons and help out where needed, especially if there were bandits.

Which of course they did appear.

Honestly, were people so rotten that they took this time as opportunity to harm others? Apparently yes.
"Call them back." Midna informed Bull, nodding towards those on their side who were about to head off and see to the group of bandits there. Waiting for them to be out of a safe range, the woman sent shadows coiling around the bandit's waists, yanking them off of their mounts and sending them tumbling back onto their asses. About to do something perhaps worse, Midna stopped herself and shook her head, looking up to Bull and shoving him again when he was seemingly staring at her.

    "Eyes on the road!"

Bull let out a laugh at Midna's shove and was about to return the favor with a light smack on the rear when jolt from the wagon starting kicked him back into focusing on where they were going and he grabbed up one of the rifles he had just in case. Time passed slowly but he knew they hadn't made it far when the bandits arrived. Pieces of shit trying to make an opportunity out of this disaster, Bull was lining up a shot when he saw Midna working her magic and he lowered the weapon and looked back at her. He was gonna ask if she was sure, he knew that if she killed that many it might have an effect on her but he knew she'd just reassure him she'd be fine. No matter if it was a lie or not, Bull nodded and slammed his fist into the side of the cart. "Chargers fall back from this one!" He watched as she pulled them down but looked back when he saw she wasn't stopping. Bull didn't intervene yet, not wanting to lose trust in her just yet. And then she was back, shoving him and telling him to watch the road, as if there wasn't a bigger issue right there with her. But he just shoo his head and yelled out a charge as his men rushed passed the fallen bandits. Bull turned back and cupped her cheek for a moment. "You did good Kadan. We're doing something good here." He turned back to the hole in the ceiling and got up to scan the horizon.

He kept his rile trained for any bandits trying to follow them, making sure nothing slipped passed them, occasional they'd have to slow down or speed up if a disaster was crossing their path or following them, but they hadn't lost anyone yet. "Form a defensive, rotate lookouts!" Bull stepped down from the perch and closed the roof, walking over to his cot and sitting down. "I think we're in the clear for now...."

Midna appreciated the faith Bull had in her, enough that he didn't intervene when he thought she might have tipped over the edge and done something she'd come to regret later on. Nodding her head a little stiffly, the princess relaxed as the man cupped her cheek, almost eclipsing it in his large, rough palm. Thinking it best to sit herself down, the woman did just that, feeling the rocking of the vehicle and being taken back to the bumpy rides she'd often had clinging to the fur of Link's wolf form. Bull bellowed a foot away, letting his followers know what to do and keeping everyone generall organised, Midna reaching out through her mental link with her wolfo, finding the animal was just fine as it kept up with the group and kept an eye out for anything of interest.

Looking up as Bull sat himself down, the princess searched his face for a moment before glancing back down at her hands, looking over her palms before she curled them over the fabric that hunk down over her knees. The carnage that Pandora was turning up took her mind on another trip, this one to when she was usurped from her throne and her people thrown into terror, transformed into monsters even the purest of heart had a hard time not misjudging right away. Lifting her hands to her ears, Midna felt them shake slightly over her tresses of fire, unable to differentiate sounds from the past with the current shouts of panic.

She wondered, hoped if Link was alright. He might not have been the Link she knew and loved but he was still him in some way or another. Fumbling for the half of tooth that hung around her neck, Midna pressed it lightly over the scar that ran along the length of her chest, murmuring something to herself before finally, finally those fiery red eyes met Bull's own gaze. She'd been about to say something when the vehicle jolted, causing her to brace one of the sides and look at the offending side, feeling the rumble of the ground beneath them. Was Pandora going to swallow them too now?

Pushing open the hutch with more fore than intended, the woman heaved herself out, legs swinging up as she gripped the roof of the vehicle, spotting some damage to one side before Midna searched for the source. Sure enough she found more of the thugs, looters looking to raid for what they could at the receiving end.
"Stay down there." She warned Bull, body rocking whilst she found and kept her balance, eyes swirling with power as the runes visible on her skin began to glow a white-blue. Black fog surrounded the culprits, pulling them up into the air before enveloping them only to toss their bodies yards away.

Black vines coiled around the riderless horses necks, makeshift reins reeling the horses in, galloping up alongside the group and kept under control. Spare horses, Midna figured. Hitting a particularly large dip, the princess found herself yelping, bouncing off her backside before she tumbled back down into the vehicle, wincing when she made contact, pointing ahead of them though as if Bull could see what she had.
"Looks safe up ahead and at the very least that group won't be coming back any time soon."
