    SKILLS & ABILITIES

Sasuke is a bright young man, good with numbers and logic deduction early on, scoring in top places of university-level exams while still in elementary. He always enjoyed to crack puzzles and complex riddles, not bothered if there was a physical aspect involved as he proved to be agile and have good reflexes. Also he is good at judging situations and carrying out the best course of action with calm focus. Laying his points out in a comprehensive manner succeeds usual, even with complex topics, as does he show skills in negotiation.

Special AbilitiesThe peculiarity about Sasuke is, that he isn't human anymore – his thoughts, his memories, his way of thinking, his personality, all that got converted into data and successfully uploaded to form an being that combined the advances of a humans brain – spontanity, instinct, imagination – with that of a computer – speed, accuracy, logic – to create a perfect tool. A mind separated from body. As this he is basically immortal, able to exist everywhere there is internet and machines. That makes it easy for him to rewrite programs, to access and influence all sorts of data, using the connected machines as needed. For short he is the personification of a very talented hacker with next to no limits. Since it's all the work of his enhanced mind, he acts faster than anyone typing could, multitasking on a level above any human. Pulling data on him is all but an easy task, his presence usually only shown by an absence of real data, nothing but seemingly garbled data revealed at closer inspection.

EquipmentA high-tech robot suit, that's less a suit to wear but a body for him to use. It is perfectly synchronized with his mind, controllable with astonishing accuracy to do as he wants. Made of a special alloy, the interior safely hidden behind fitting plates, it shapes the form of a lean young man with a helmet, looking real enough to fool others when overlaid with a holographic appearance of Sasuke, made possible by in-build devices. The suit is independent from energy sources, tapping into electricity around, but needs regular maintenance and adjustments. Despite the light-weight build allowing for smooth movements, it can easily overwhelm a human in strength and speed, the reflexes only slower due to delays in the connection.

    WEAKNESSES

The biggest weak point is that his human body already died. Sasuke may exist on in data, but that can't make up for human interaction, for actual doing things, emotions coming short thanks to it too, as he simply lacks the physical part of feeling. There is no way for him to come back. Being all data makes him vulnerable to hacking, as it is possible to take him over and use him – though he has tight security and the complexity of him will make it hard. For the same reason is he restricted to areas with some sort of tech access and depending on the possibilities available, restricted in his movements. On top the robot suit he uses as a body needs maintenance that he can't do on his own.

    PERSONALITY

Deep inside, Sasuke is a nice guy, friendly, willing to put the safety of others above his own. Interacting with people still puts him at unease, simply for lack of experience and since a lot of his past experience had been under bad influence, put on a leash. At times his trouble with emotions makes him appear bland, what others show full-out only registering as hints – but it's there and he feels the same range like any normal human, only toned down a bit. He doesn't has much of a sense of humor, reacting with silence rather than puzzlement though. On the other hand he likes riddles and games, enjoys to answer cryptic or leave others in the dark, knowing how to play them. If he has a goal to reach he'll go to great lengths and if it seems reasonable, even become ruthless. Privacy is a concept a bit beyond him, simply because he can be everywhere there is tech, but if told he'll respect others choices.

    APPEARANCE

The human Sasuke is a japanese young adult of average height, lean and muscles, skin just a bit too fair and flawless at close inspection. His eyes are a very dark brown, with specks of gold. He wears his dark hair short and neat.
While all of this is at best an illusion, a picture displayed through various media, it is good enough to fool anyone into thinking he's a real human.

    OPTIONAL HISTORY

As a kid, he had been normal. Born in London, living in Tokyo, a two year older brother, one parent a famous scientist, the other an artist. All was well, except that this little boy was severely ill, not knowing yet that being sick often would mean his life cut short within some years. Of course his parents did everything they could, eventually getting him into a experimental group open only to terminal ill childs with a high intellect. Project Zero. Little did they knew what it really was about. When the dozens of tests and new treatments didn't appeared to help him, they decided to pull him out, to have him spend his final time in peace at home.
A big loss for the scientists, as he was a perfect candidate for their attempt at immortality, by uploading him into data, a crossover between a human brain and a high-functional AI. So they kidnapped him, locked him in a secret lab, told him that he only could see his family again if he cooperated. Which of course never happened, no matter how good he was, later even a glimpse on TV of his now-famous brother a rare reward, a test to gauge his reactions. The daughter of the leading scientist, Jax, was his only companion in the time, their friendship gradually growing into something more.
Eventually he died, succumbing to his initial illness. At that point they already had all they needed, running a AI that had all of a human and a computer combined. Zero. Zero, who wasn't really Sasuke anymore, because they blocked access to his memories so he'd be more pliable, easier to command, feelings numbed as they'd only be in the way. Set up like that, bound to the head scientist Taylor, he was send out to complete tasks, to grow used to his new being and use the benefits to full potential. Taylor intended to use him to take over his brothers corporation, since the virtual world he'd created and the neuro-linking lenses that came with it offered quite an option to quickly rise to a world-spreading power.
Manipulating Emika, a promising hacker Hideo had sneaked into his own games championship to catch the ominous hacker (Zero), the plan proceeded, only taking a hitch when Emika, thinking she did the right thing, actually supported Hideos plan, starting the countdown to an update that'd enable the NeuroLink to control humans. It was meant to reduce violence, to stop crimes like someones little brother getting kidnapped out of the blue, but obviously held the potential for severe misuse.
After explaining that, Zero finally got Emika to help him and work together with him and Jax – just to get betrayed himself in the end, as Jax wanted to free him from Taylors bound and convinced the young hacker to pull it through. One complicate plan later, Hideo had killed Taylor, Zero now holding the control of the NeuroLink and, still restrained by his programming, attempted to use it and fulfill Taylors plan to get rid of Hideo. Only through the combined effort of Jax, Emika and her team of players and Hideo did they manage to confront Zero in the virtual gameworld, Warcross, and by giving him back the memories of his younger versions, the merge creating a free, more human being. Just as he was coming to terms with the situation Pandora snatched him.

    ROLEPLAY SAMPLE

Dying hurt. Sasuke had thought that he'd just fall asleep and not wake up again, had been so tired in the past weeks. Weak too, not even up to sneak away into their hiding spot with Jax, the one ventilation duct you could climb up and watch the stars through. But he couldn't anymore, had fallen the last times. Nice that she still came, simply huddling with him under a blanket, staying despite him dozing off, thoughts frazzled, skipping over into the other place – where she wasn't. The pain pulled him back anyway, every new procedure causing more discomfort instead of helping. Apart from Jax no one cared, they only wanted more scans, needed another scan, put him on an IV when he couldn't keep food down anymore.
It was just a matter of time, really. He wasn't sure if they helped it in the end, but at some point he didn't wake up in his body anymore, but as Zero. Fully. On the one side he feared a bit how Taylor might use him now that he couldn't retreat anymore, on the other it was a relief to stop worrying about so many things that came with his failing body. Still the first time seeing her again was... odd. Cameras working as his visuals. No more brushing touches, the holograph that displayed him still unrefined. “Hey” It was his voice, flatter, a strange undertone from the speakers. She just smiled, sad, tears in her eyes. And he stayed silent, not knowing what else to say. This was downtime from all the tasks they'd set him up to, though what to do now that there wasn't really something to do for him, he didn't knew. Relying on Jax for that proved good, since she got out a screen and stomped over to him determined. “We have to do something about that look of yours! That's not you now” And just with that he smiled again, nothing more but a flicker on the graphics, but real.
