@Bellamy Blake (Feel free to ignore this if you want! I just thought seeing as how they were in the same area. It might be nice if they caught up and stuff)

Clarke had not heard much about Morhall. In fact, all she knew about the place was that it was built in a mountain and that it was very cold. Colder than most other places in Pandora. Which made sense given the fact that it was up a very large mountain and built into the mountain itself. The last time Clarke had any dealings or contact with a mountain was back in her home world. Mount Weather. At first, Clarke thought it was the answer to their survival. She even took a small group to try and find the place in the hope that they could find supplies and shelter. However, things did not going according to plan.

Not only did one of their party get badly hurt. The group found out that the 100 were not alone on the surface. There were survivors from the fallout over a century ago. Clarke did not believe it at first. From what she had been taught on board the Ark. The planet had been utterly wasted. Total annihilation from head to toe. Million upon millions were killed in the nuclear blaze that consumed the planet. It seemed that life was much stronger that nuclear fire or rather that life found away to carry on beyond utter destruction. Clarke knew that life was a powerful thing. She just never truly understood how powerful it was until that fateful day when they learned that they were not alone on earth. Back then Clarke never realized that it was just the tip of the iceberg and that it was more complicated than she or anyone else on the Ark could possibly imagine.

The grounders. As they came to be known. Turned out to be a warrior tribe society. They believed in honor on the battlefield and that the strongest survived while the weakest among them died. They saw the 100 as a threat that needed to be wiped out. However, Clarke led the charge and fought back against them. She had just wiped out their army using the dropship's engines. When gas surrounded the area and knocked everyone out cold. That was when Clarke learned that Mount Weather also held its own society. They were the descendants of the American government or at least those that made it to the bunker before the bombs fell anyway. They believed that the surface was their birthright and that one day they would return. With the help of Clarke and her group. It turned out that a hundred or so years in space had made everyone on the Ark immune to radiation. At least low level solar radiation anyway. It was an issue for those within Mount Weather given the fact that they had spent a hundred or so years underground. They effectively became allergic to sunlight and could not survive outside of the mountain walls.

Clarke wanted to believe that they were their saviors. She so desperately wanted them to be as they appeared. Peaceful people that just wanted to restore humanity. But Clarke felt something was wrong right from the word go and she escaped and learned the truth about the mountain men. When she learned the truth. Clarke assembled a grounder army and marched on Mount Weather. They were about to attack when Lexa, the commander of the army and of the grounders, betrayed Clarke and left her to deal with mount Weather. That night Clarke made a choice that stained her soul in blood for all time. She killed everyone in that mountain. Everyone. Just to save everyone she cared about the most. That night Clarke vowed to herself that she would never take another life and that she would spent the rest of her years trying to find forgiveness. At least that was the hope anyway.

Thankfully, Morhall was nothing like Mount Weather. In fact, Clarke had heard that they were in need of some medical help and supplies. In her mission to find forgiveness and to help others. Clarke decided to make her way up the mountain with a small cargo crate full of medical supplies. She also was going to offer her services as a medic to whoever needed help healing wounds or illnesses. Just as a blizzard started to hit the mountain. Clarke made it to the watchtower. The entrance to Morhall itself. She made her way through the main gate and started to take off her winter protection. She then stood and waited to see if she was welcomed by a greeting party or if she was going to be left to her own devices.

Maes had been walking out in town with his daughter Elicia who was looking around and spotted Clark coming in with her supplies and removing of winter gear "Look daddy" she said and pointed to Clarke, and Maes looked over and saw her. "Hello there, do you need any help. I'm the Quaestor, one of the leaders so I'm sure I can be of service" he commented with a smile and a wave as they worked over towards the girl.

When they got there Elicia smiled at Clarke "Hi I'm Elicia" she said cutely and Maes smiled "I'm Maes Hughes, welcome to Morhall. What brings you to our lovely hole in the ground" joked Hughes as he wondered what she was doing with all that stuff. She could've easily called ahead and someone would've helped her bring the stuff into the city, but something told him that she was a driven girl so he wouldn't pry too much.
