Pino was exploring one of the less known caverns that day, making her way under the dim light from the crystals. The mountain used to be a place of trolls and monsters and still those stories were passed from one person to another, but Pino hadn't heard a troll for quite some time. She had been gone from Morhall for a while, having adventures in Pandora's space camp and now that she was back, she wanted to continue travelling inside mt Pompeii, in search of new things that would be useful for Morhallians. Or anything that was shiny and caught her eye really.

The tunnel was progressively getting more narrow, so much that two people standing side by side would have difficulty moving, but Pino had the advantage of being tiny. So she continued walking, looking left and right for anything that appealed to her, but so far all she saw were large rocky formations. At one point, the light was disappearing completely leaving the rest of the way in complete darkness, but the AutoReiv wasn't too worried. She always carried the shiny stone mr Sugar had given her, that could illuminate even the darkest of places.

So she lifted it from her pocket and continued moving forwards with its light guiding her.

Then, she heard it. It was a low sound, like the gurgling of an empty stomach. But it persisted so Pino, curious as ever, attempted to locate the source of the noise. It seemed to be coming from somewhere in her right, but all she saw there were the walls of the narrow tunnel. She paused in front of it, rising her shiny rock but for a few seconds nothing happened.

Pino made a step closer to the wall. And then, without prior warning, the rock begun cracking until it shattered and a large head popped out. It was no troll Pino had ever seen in picture books or heard stories about. Instead, its upped boy was more reptile-like with two yellow eyes focused on the little AutoReiv. Its mouth was large though and when it opened, it revealed a set of sharp teeth. The rest of his body that was emerging from the wall
resembled that of a large man, only it was covered in hair from neck to toe. Pino had never seen anything like that before. But when it spoke, Pino knew what she had to do.

'Huuuuuuungryyyyy!' the thing said in a hissing voice.

    Pino begun running.

Jericho Swain was many things, but uninformed was not one of them. Though he had only been in Pandora for a few days, he'd already set to work bringing himself up to speed with the lay of the land. In his vast experience, it was best to properly observe the different towns in person. His ravens could do many things, and their insight was just as valuable as viewing things personally, but he felt that it would be more efficient to observe one place whilst the birds scouted others. That being said, he was not alone out in the wilderness. He still had a decently sized Murder with him.

He kept his hands tucked behind his back as he marched through the tunnels, as befitting of one of his station. It seemed that this area would be particularly difficult to capture if the need ever arose. The tunnels were expansive and had many branches. His eyebrow arched for a moment. He had dealt with such situations before, but it had been costly. Ravens settled around him as he stood observing, pecking at the ground and watching the surrounding area. It was a particularly Odd sight to see a flock of birds so deep underground, but Swain had little care for convention.

He abruptly turned, his coat billowing out slightly and made to walk away when a ruffle of feathers caught his attention. It seemed something had caught the attentions of his birds. He stopped dead, raising his demonic left hand. One of his birds alighted upon it briefly whispering something into his ear. The former grand general nodded to himself, before closing his fist. The bird winked out of existance with a wisp of red mist, rejoining the flock that sat about him. He turned once again, headed towards the disturbance his birds had told him about.

It didn't take him long to reach the area, turning a corner and almost running into a small child. "I suppose this is what my birds informed me of." He said, mostly to himself. He glanced upwards as the tunnel rumbled. The thing that had scarred the child made it's appearance. "A mere beast. Disapointing." He said simply. The creature roared at him, but he did not flinch, instead he raised his demonic hand and said, "There are worse things roaming the Immortal Bastion." He regarded the child once more "I shall deal with this creature, child." The creature began to charge towards him, but Swain interupted it, blasting it with red lightning as he cast Death's Hand at it. Surprised, the creature stumbled, but it did not fall, nor retreat. Perhaps this would take longer than a few minutes after all...

Elicia had decided to take some steps away from papa, to adventure into the tunnels though she knew her dad really wasn't that far away. Hughes wasn't the type to allow his daughter out of ear shot, he wouldn't allow her out of eye sight either but she'd snuck away regardless. She'd walked down another tunnel and saw a man surrounded by birds, a little girl and some kind of crocodile man that reminded Elicia of the stories of Chimeras she'd heard from other kids back home.

She'd even asked daddy about it once, and he said that she shouldn't worry as he'd protect her if something like that appeared. Elicia just watched with curiosity as the strange man attempted to battle the creature, she'd call for her dad if the man had any trouble but right now she wasn't worried too much. But she motioned for the little girl to come to her, maybe to just chat or to help her it didn't really matter either way this was interesting to the little girl.

Pino somehow managed to not collide with the other person inside the tunnel and his voice stopped her in her tracks for a few seconds. She looked up at him with her big green curious eyes, her voice resembling that of a small child. 'Birds?' she questioned as she heard him, moving her irises left and right to see them, but it was too dark to spot any flying creatures, even for her. So then she returned her attention at the man and his strange hand that seemed as it had caught fire. But he wasn't shouting or appear any distressed about it, so the little AutoReiv came to the conclusion that having a flaming hand was normal for that man. Which was really amazing!

'Okay, mister!' she said as a response to his statement and moved to the left and out of his way. She still kept her eyes at him and the beast that had caught up to them, unable to look away from the fight. It seemed that the beast was very powerful and could not be hurt immediately, so Pino gasped when it charged towards the man with the white hair. She brought her hands on her chest and hoped that he would be okay.

Behind her, she heard of another noise and quickly turned her head towards its direction, only to feel relief and a tad of excitement. In Morhall, it was rare to find people close to her height; as everyone was as tall as the man fighting the beast and sometimes even more! So she could not contain her enthusiasm, despite the dangerous situation and she hurried over to the girl's side. 'Hi!' she greeted in a lowered voice. 'I'm Pino. What's your name?' she asked, trying to make her voice heard despite the beast's angry sounds.
