Special Agent Broughton - if that is her actual name, nobody is really sure about that - has an almost unbelievable resumé, spanning at least three decades and filled with an abundance of undercover missions that led her to almost every corner of Pandora. There is barely anything she hasn't pretended to be, from bartender and night club dancer, over believed-to-be-dead local heroine, up to princess and popstar. One particular story took the cake though. During one of her missions, the details of which are still redacted, she found herself forced to attend a children's birthday party. As the entertainment. In full mascot attire. There are various popular videos of Lorraine, as the mascot, performing full mascot antics, including but not limited to: being dog piled by overly excitable children, jumping on a pogo stick in costume and falling into the cake, as well as throwing a screaming and laughing child into a trampoline in arguable rage.
The other part of her career is a long-lasting friendship with Sebastian Moran. They apparently rose through parallel ranks at the same time, him becoming General and her reaching Bond-like fame among her peers. In the famous battle against the sea monsters, it was her who played vital information into his hand after having infiltrated the monster's ranks in months of preparation. When he quit, Lorraine kept the people off his back who wanted him to come back into the army, and has sometimes babysat his two adorable kids, so he and his girlfriend could take the night off. There are quite awful rumours going around, stating she was the reason Sebastian's girlfriend took off, leaving him alone with Wanda and Pietro, but that's entirely untrue. Either way, nobody dares to badmouth him when Lorraine is around, or when it's very likely that she'll hear about it - which is to say, almost always.
Lorraine is also quite the known figure in the Pandopolis queer scene.
Daisy "Skye" Johnson
From the moment they met, Skye reminded Lorraine of her ex-lover Delphine, and it's easy to see how much the young hacktivist is her type; yet that's by far not the main reason why Lorraine is falling deeply for her. Skye managed what the spy thought to be impossible of anyone daring to come close: she stayed. Through drunken kisses and bandaged up injuries, the two never drifted too far apart, always coming back to each other like magnets that couldn't stay too far apart. Both have had someone they cared deeply for die back in their homeworld, and while they are unable to forget these people, it looks as if they can at least find comfort in each other's company - and now that they managed to go steady, it's time to put this comfort to an inevitable test.
Thanks to their fake history, Sebastian came into Lorraine's life as a sort of good friend who had allegedly risen through the ranks beside her, where they bonded and worked together closely. She would babysit his kids and deliver information to him. The truth lies somewhere else though. She finds him undeniably attractive, but there is something that connects them deeper than that, something they can't and won't give a name to, born out of a deadly understanding of how it feels like to kill, and shed blood. Something that leaves her breathless and drawn to him. Something that he can't shake either. Lorraine cares about him a lot and this thing between them isn't easily dismissed, even now, where she's drifted closer to Skye.
A young succubus who'd been feeding on Lorraine regularly. The spy might have her problems with magic and supernatural beings and aliens - problems of an overwhelming, mundane kind, not of a specicist kind - but Bo certainly hit the right nerve with her - at least until the spy found out rather dramatically, that the other is a lot less human than she thought. This relationship of theirs was of a purely sexual nature, but they had something like a friendship going on up until recently, too. Now she feels more betrayed than anything and it will take a lot for Bo to fix that, if she ever can.
Wanda is probably the only person in Pandora who'd be allowed to call Lorraine Auntie. They share a fake history, with Wanda being the daughter of Sebastian Moran and Lorraine taking over the role of a parent substitute, whenever Wanda's '''real''' mother wasn't around. There are a lot of beautifully decorated and crafted glitter-pen-paper monstrosities pinned to Lorraine's fridge, all of them drawn by Wanda - some version of her, anyway.
She too can't actually remember what has evidently happened in the last years, and now they share more of a weird niece/auntie relationship, which both can't really shake, even if it's not 'real' and even though Wanda has aged tremendously since Lorraine's first met her.
The dead brother - believed-to-be dead brother - of Wanda. In Lorraine's fake history, he died when he was 7, and she has surely grieved with Sebastian and Wanda over him.
Outside of their fake history, however, it's hard to say just what kind of relationship they're gonna develop. He's a package deal with Wanda, for the most time, and Lorraine's gotten pretty used to him over time, but they barely talk. Who knows what's written into the starts for them.
