March 5, Y109
Defying previously reported forecasts for the day, Pandopolis was slammed by what is being described as a freak weather phenomenon early on March 5. A combination of high winds, rain, snow, lightning, ice and even what some describe as fire wreaked havoc upon the region's infrastructure for several hours, resulting in productivity grinding to a halt amid numerous power outages and advisories for the public to remain safely indoors.
Reports of property damage continue to pour in, among them broken windows, broken roofs, and felled trees. Citizens located closest to the epicenter of the storm have submitted the heaviest losses, reporting entire farms destroyed by the freak act of nature.
Though the event dissipated as quickly as it began, members of the public are advised to remain patient as cleanup efforts continue.
