@Felix Fraldarius
October 24th, Year 109

Sinbad wasn't sure when he fell asleep on the return from Crocell's dungeon, though it was probably after downing half of the contents in his flask. But it was hard to resist the call; he was left to his lonesome without the other generals, just him and his thoughts and his bags of treasure. While they weren't exactly the most luxurious thing to lay back against, it made for a decent enough pillow to rest his head on. Add some alcohol to the mix and the general tiredness one experiences after capturing a Dungeon, and you have the recipe for a short, well-deserved nap.

Since he was asleep, he never noticed the black vines that crept out. He didn't even kick out a leg when they wrapped around his wrist and dragged both him and his treasure into plummeting darkness. The only thing his unconscious self noticed was how suddenly cramped he felt, but it was easily remedied by settling on his side and tucking his knees closer to his abdomen.

What did wake up the king was a combination of two things: a door opening and closing rather loudly, and a man groaning "what the fuck". Very blearily, Sinbad rubbed at his eyes with an overly dramatic yawn followed by him stretching out comfortably. His fist bumped against a tile wall, as did his feet on porcelain. Only then did he realize that the dungeon had dumped him in someone's restroom, and in a cramped bathtub at that. It was strangely cold as well?

He was cold because he didn't have any clothes on, none save his metal vessels and a leaf. That would probably explain why the short, blue-haired man looked very pissed and very flustered. Naked and lost, Sinbad rose from the undignified position and wore his best smile in hopes that it would smooth over any issues that this would undoubtedly cause. "I'm sorry for my state of dress, I'm not sure where my clothes have disappeared to." Couldn't have been a thief if he still had his metal vessels; what sort of thief steals one's underwear, anyways? "I'm not sure where I am either. What country is this and how far is it from Sindria?"

All Felix had wanted to do was shower.

A simple request, really. He had always liked to stick to heavily regimented schedules: wake up as early as possible (there was, apparently, a sweet spot in this house in which everyone could be asleep at once,) shower, walk out to the woods to train, do some weapons management, eat, wait for the others to wake. He had been doing his best to follow this set schedule since entering Pandora over a month ago now. It made Felix feel as if he had some kind of control. As if he was allowed to do what he wanted, as opposed to constantly being prompted. After so long a life of being treated as if he were nothing more than a piece in a chess game, having some freedom was almost delightful. Maybe he'd even cheer about it, if he were a different sort of person. You know, one who cheered.

Of course, something had to come along and ruin his scheduling.

Felix had learned, very early on, that nothing good seemed to last in Pandora. The box never seemed to want to give him, in particular, a break. He had fallen in with a broken wrist. He had met up with his childhood friends who were supposed to be dead (by his own hand, no less,) who he was now pretty sure resented him for that very fact. (If Dimitri didn't, Sylvain likely did.) He'd already made a fool of himself and tarnished his carefully-crafted facade more than once. Nothing good here seemed to last. Nothing in Pandora was sacred. Especially not his dumb schedules.

Which was why, he assumed, he was the one who had to be presented with a nearly-fully-naked man in their bathroom.
Of course.
Of course.
Fuck off, Pandora.

"What the fuck," was all that could make it out of his mouth. Not a blaring angry, like the little volcano could tend to be. No, Felix was more exasperated. He had just wanted to go about his day. Why was nobody in this goddess-forsaken place willing to let him do just that. His cheeks lit up red, and he made it a point to look anywhere but directly at this (weirdly attractive?) nude man in their bathtub. Someone had to have left him here. Sylvain. Claude. Literally fucking anybody. It was more a matter of finding out who. Aaand, great. He was asking questions. Of course he was asking questions. And smiling. Like this was some kind of every day occurrence for him.

As if Felix couldn't be more pissed.

"I don't know what a Sindria is." He spat the words at the floor, angry and acidic, mostly as a defense mechanism. Fight the fluster with anger. "You're in Pandora. More specifically, you're in my bathroom. Leave."

There was one comfort that Sinbad had throughout his life, a thing that had always been there. The sensation flowed over his skin like the crisp water of the ocean. It was a river that pushed forwards and guided the lives that lived within its flow. When he concentrated enough, he could see the bundles of light that flared throughout the land. For as long as he could remember, Sinbad could innately recognize the movement of destiny itself. It was as tangible to him like the wind was through his hair. Something he could intimately feel its flow even if he couldn’t grasp it with his own two hands.

But something about this land was wrong. There was nothing of the sort - no flow, no destiny, nothing. Empty. Gaping. Sinbad felt as if he had been plunged into a terrible void. His skin crawled and if he were a weaker man, his knees would have buckled beneath him. The smile slipped from his face momentarily, his eyes blind to the other man’s embarrassment. It was ironic how he felt more naked now than he ever had before.

So preoccupied by his thoughts was he that the scathing response shocked him back to reality. Sinbad blinked dumbly at the words spat at him, his mind slow to recognize them. His head felt as if it was being split into two different directions - one that tried to maintain the appearance of a nonchalant king, and the other struggling to wrap around this bizarre new reality. Yet he managed to smile in confusion, and he managed to mask the uncertainty in his eyes.

”I’m sorry, did you say Pandora? I’m not sure what continent that even is on!” His own smile erred as his own statement sunk in. Pandora was a land whose name he didn’t recognize. In all of the known world, he had never heard of a nation, island, or continent called Pandora. Sinbad liked to pride himself on being knowledgeable on such things, though was it possible that he had been tossed to some secluded corner of the world? How long would it even be to return home? And why was he even in the nude? He hadn’t undressed between now and his time in the Dungeon, and Sinbad sincerely doubted that it was this angry stranger.

There was something undoubtedly suspicious about the situation, and he couldn’t bring himself to trust the blue-haired man enough to relay his questions to. ”I’ll gladly leave, but can I have an old pair of pants? After that I’ll get out of your hair.” Once he got something to wear, he’d be free to figure out what this Pandora land was. And the first step was literally stepping out of the bathtub after fishing his sword from it. At the very least he had it. ”Oh, and if you would be so generous, a map? I can find my way back to Sindria.” No matter what happened, Sinbad always found himself back home. Even if it took a year or ten, he can make it.

Had Pandora really, earnestly decided to throw a new person into their bathroom, of all places?

Of course. Of course the Box had, because the Box did not have any mercy. Not toward anyone, but especially not toward Felix. This place seemed one hundred percent hellbent on pissing him off in any way possible. Not only was it going to injure him, or degrade him, or make him live with the mistakes he'd so foolishly made on his own. No. Now it was going to force him into perpetually awkward situations. Situations like having to deal with finding a nude man who had no idea where the hell he was, when all Felix wanted to do was take a damn shower.

He wasn't sure what made him angrier: his inability to focus, his inability to properly explain Pandora to someone who'd never been, or the Box's inability to let him live through his routine as normal.

Felix ran a hand down his face, pinching his eyes closed. Maybe if he squeezed them tight enough, this entire situation would stop happening. Maybe if he squeezed even harder than that, he'd be back home. Things weren't good there, but fuck, at least they were predictable. Pandora's constant need for unpredictability was, to no one's surprise, really starting to get on his nerves. The hand tracing down his face then ran through his hair, pushing back his out-of-place bangs into vaguely the spot they were supposed to be in.

He supposed he'd better answer. Not that he wanted to.

"Yeah, I don't know either." Was Pandora even on a continent? Felix hadn't thought of the logistics. He'd assumed that Pandora was the continent. Those things having been so important for distinction in Fodlan, he'd all but given up on trying to understand them in Pandora. It wasn't worth his time. Nor was it worth his effort, or the small shred of patience he still clung to like a lifeline.

The sword this mysterious man reached for caught Felix's eye as he went to retrieve it. It was... impressive, and an odd shape as well. Something he'd certainly never seen before. It was unique, and that was saying something, coming from a weapons enthusiast such as himself. No matter. He'd have time to ask about it later. Or never, if he could help it. As interesting as the weaponry was, he'd rather that the guy'd come with some clothes as opposed to anything else. Still, he couldn't help but wonder. Who was this man? Was he of importance?

"Does it look like I'd have something that fits you?" Their difference in size certainly wasn't lost on him, and he made that clear through another venomous jab. Felix'd always been tiny. Always slim, and slight, no matter who he was compared to. Clothes of his own certainly wouldn't fit the man before him, who was far broader, and certainly much taller. He'd have to go rifling through the boar's clothes. Ugh. "Just... stay here. I'll find something. Don't. Move."

With that, he took a step out, praying to whatever goddess that clearly didn't exist that this nude man didn't take it upon himself to follow.

He... didn't know? Sinbad hadn't taken the stranger for one uneducated about even the geography of his country, but perhaps he shouldn't have been surprised. Many of the lower class lived without access to a map of their nation and continent, much less afford to travel. Yet, looking upon the state of the restroom, he certainly didn't seem poor. The clothes he wore to the restroom were too high-class to be that of a servant's, and the house was too ornate to be that of a peasant's. Then why did he fail to know what continent he lived on?

The longer the conversation ran, the more unsteady Sinbad felt about the situation. Nevermind the apparently geographically-challenged man, there was no fate. No destiny that he could feel or see. That fact hadn't been lost on him, despite his carefree persona. Why would such an instrumental flow that ran the world suddenly... disappear? That alone was troubling still. There should not be a part of his world that was untouched by the chains of fate, yet here he was in a space utterly devoid of such bonds.

Sinbad also didn't fail to notice the stranger's eyes following his metallic sword. Was it the shape of the blade that caught his attention? It was an interesting tidbit to store away for the future, just in case it became prevalent... Well, as off as his predicament was, at least he still had his other metal vessels on his person. He may be as nude as the day he was born, but he still had his Djinns.

"Oh, they don't have to fit! I'm sure I can squeeze my way into something if you don't mind sacrificing it," Sinbad answered nonchalantly with a smile as if this was just his everyday norm... Though given his extracurricular activities in the evening, being nude was practically a normal state of being for him. Alas! But the stranger brought a fair point - he was taller by a few inches and had a much broader frame. Whatever offered to him would be a challenge to fit into, but it was better than nothing?

At the order, he stood there, standing in the bathtub without moving an inch. A minute passed. Then two. Afterwards, Sinbad climbed out of the porcelain tub and followed straight out the door. At the end of the hallway was the blue-haired stranger, who was probably beyond pleased. Before his appearance could be questioned, he simply waved a hand as if that would dispell the hostility practically rolling off the stranger. "You said to not move, but not for how long."

Of course he was going to turn around and see the man there.

Because nothing in this world could be easy, and nobody in this goddess-foresaken box ever wanted to actually fucking listen to him. Of course he wanted to follow, and to be defiant, and to be an overall absolute pain in the ass. Why was Felix expecting anything different? It was almost like he was the part of this newfound comedy duo that didn't know where he was or something.

With a disgruntled sigh that he made absolutely sure the other could hear in response to his oh-so-clever (fucking bite him) quip, he ducked inside Dimitri's room and slammed the door behind him.

Perfect.
An opportunity to breathe for one damned second in his life.

As he rifled through the neatly put away clothing in a dresser off to the side (something he'd definitely have to apologize for, or at least make mention of, due to the fact that Felix really didn't want to ignite some kind of long lost paranoia of Dimitri's that probably existed,) he tried to make sense of what was happening. Like that was any kind of easy.

The man was clearly new to Pandora, given his questions about where he was, as well as the other assorted things that Felix couldn't make heads or tails of. The Box had just decided to drop him off in their communal bathtub. Taking everything else into account, it surely could have gone worse for him. It at least had the decency to drop his nude self into a place where people were (begrudgingly) willing to help him get adjusted. As someone who'd dropped into the middle of nowhere and broken his wrist upon arrival, Felix wanted desperately to tell the seemingly-entitled other human being standing on the opposite side of the door that he should be counting his fucking blessings that anyone was being nice to him at all.

There were places for people like him, weren't there? Help stations for those who'd only just dropped in? Felix hadn't been to one. In fact, he'd barely heard of them, but in passing he'd come to the conclusion that they may or may not actually exist. That was good enough for him. It was also a good enough excuse to get the man out of his hair before someone started coming up with ideas about why a naked man was here for him, specifically.

Enough thinking. With a sigh, he yoinked something that vaguely resembled a shirt and pants out from within Dimitri's dresser, following the action up with a silent prayer to the saints that the purple haired man did not complain about the choice of clothing he was given. It'd certainly fit him better than anything Felix'd have to offer, anyway, and most importantly it'd put some fucking clothes on him. Cheeks burning bright red with a mixture of his newfound embarrassment and frustration, he yanked the door open with his free hand before walking down to shove the clothes at the other form.

"Here. Put them on before someone sees you," He hissed, jamming one hand down into his pocket. "and then get the hell out of here. There are places for new people. This isn't one of them."

Some men were easy creatures to read, others trickier. Felix telegraphed his irritation readily, making it easy to know which button to press. Disobedience, far from witty quips - it all bothered him. Granted, he had appeared naked in the man's bathtub, so it was easy to understand the annoyance... But hey, at least the eyeful was a pleasant one to see!

With the door slammed closed and the stranger gone, it gave Sinbad plenty of time to wander down the hallway. He passed by several doors, one of which was cracked open to reveal a bedroom, before reaching the living room that the hallway opened up to. The furniture was a distinct style that he had yet to see in his travels, but it was reminiscent of perhaps Sasan or Reim? There was a window set in the living room that revealed a forest just beyond it. It eliminated the possibility that he was in Heliohapt or the Dark Continent, and the flora looked too temperate to be Balbadd, the Southern Sea, Artemyra, or Imuchakk.

Then where was he? Most of the world, aside from the Dark Continent, had been explored. He himself had seen first-hand many of the jungles and wilds that existed in his pursuit of the Dungeons. He had sailed the seven seas, visited countless nations... so where was he. The stranger's answers were of no help, either. Pandora was a completely foreign term and the fact that he recognized nothing that he said was beyond worrisome.

The sound of draws being slammed shut drew Sinbad out of his thoughts, a warning sign that the stranger most likely finished his scavenge hunt. He quickly retreated back down the hallway to the spot outside the bedroom door, his trouble countenance replaced by an easy-going smile.

"Thanks for the clothes," despite the man's smaller stature, the clothes that he provided was more than big enough to fit. His brother's clothes, maybe? Lover? Roommate? "I'll make sure to dress quickly, wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea." And true to his word, he carefully slipped the shirt on without a thought to cover the rest of himself up. He moved onto his pants before pausing, brows furrowing at the rest of the stranger's statement.

"Places for new people? So this situation is not unheard of but common?" There would be no reason to construct a building specifically to aid King Vessels who had been displaced once the Dungeon disappeared given their small number. In hindsight, the stranger was more disturbed by his naked state rather than his appearance. But if he wasn't teleported here by Crocell's dungeon, then why did he appear?

"You said that this place is called Pandora, correct? What sort of nation is it, exactly."
