There were so many interesting things in Pandora. Ochaco thought that she had seen a variety of people back home but Pandora always seemed to have something else odd to introduce just around the corner. Every day there was something new for her to learn or discover and more often than not, she found herself wondering what was real or fact among the lies or mistruths. Back home everything had a much more defined history. Easily taught in class or read up online.

Ochaco was trying to learn as much as she could in a short amount of time. Everyone around her seemed to have tricks or tips about how to adjust to the place. She wasn't sure what to believe and everything just seemed... overwhelming. In a way, she wished that she had one of her teachers in Pandora with her but she hadn't seen anything about Eraserhead or any one else in the news. In her mind there was an easy way to fill in her knowledge gaps: textbooks.

Textbooks were something that every one had to read in school. Things that were considered standard, but she also knew that textbooks were not cheap. At least the ones that you could buy from stores instead of pick up in a classroom. She would have to be careful in making sure that she got the most "bang for her buck", or so the saying went. Ochaco had a list of basic school books that most "kids" in Pandora were currently required to read for classes and she was going into a local bookshop to make sure that she got the best deal.

So with that list clutched in one hand and a look of determination on her face, Ochaco pushed past the front door and quickly made her way to the correct section of the store. Textbooks stood out among everything else. The teen stopped halfway down a shelf and then started to glance between her list and the books in front of her, trying to compare what prices had been at the last store to this one. It wasn't like she had much else to do in her free time, she had only been in Pandora just under a month and she was trying to adjust.

Without thinking about it Uraraka made herself lighter with a simple snap of her hands, floating up so she could snag a book off the top shelf before increasing her weight slowly to land back on the ground. She was smiling widely, realizing that this textbook about Pandora was on sale at half price, when she looked up and realized that there was someone standing there that she knew. "Bakugo?" She took a step and then stopped. Was it really him?

Katsuki sighed - the sound annoyed, even if he really wasn't. A cart of books in front of him with post-its indicating where they needed to go in the store. It was mindless and boring work - honestly it felt beyond beneath him. But it was basically the cost of rent of this place. Wasn't exactly how he wanted to spend his time outside of school, but if this meant he didn't have to deal with that fucking orphanage anymore - so be it.

One of the cats that lived in the shop was following him around as he worked - rubbing against his legs whenever he stopped moving. He offered the thing the occasional pet if his hands happened to be near a bottom shelf. One ear-bud in, just in case anyone needed to catch his attention. Normally he didn't give a damn - but after having someone catch him off-guard once, he didn't really wanna chance that happening again. Felt dumb to jump when someone touched his damned shoulder.

Turning a corner, he glanced up to see someone he actually kind of knew. At least it wasn't fucking Deku. Since he wasn't really sure how to...deal with seeing someone from back home, if he was honest - he just glanced back down to his work and kept working. Lips silently mouthing the author's last name - as he looked for a spot to book the thing. The plan was just to keep working and ignore her. If she noticed him, so be it. If she didn't, that was that.

After using her power to grab something off the top shelf and landing back on her feet without puking, she noticed him. Katsuki shot her a quick glance, before continuing to work.

"The fuck do you want?"

He could almost hear Kirishima's voice apologizing for him and saying something pointless like he means hi, nice to see you! But instead, there was just the silence of the bookstore.

The cat by his feet decided to take over the role - walking over to Round Face with a dumb and weird trilling sound - purring loud for no real apparent reason. Nobody was touching the thing, yet seemed just happy to exist and meet someone new.

The fuck do you want?

Right, this was Bakugo. How had she been expecting anything different? He was a cranky soul at best and why did she think that this would go… well at all? Uraraka stared at him for a moment, the friendly smile on her face frozen slightly in response. Her hand had been lifted to give him a friendly wave as well, but it stopped half way up with her fingers almost curling in defense against his tone.

If someone else had been there, Kirishima mostly, then things would have likely been smoothed over but Uraraka just… wasn’t fully prepared. But Bakugo was the very first person she met who was from home and that wasn’t something she was prepared to ignore. Which meant that a full smile was plastered on her face a second later. She let her hand drop and tucked it behind her to hide any possibly nervous details.

”I haven’t seen anyone else from home! It’s good to see you!” Friendly, she just had to stay friendly. Which was something she could do. She was Uraraka! ”How long have you been here?” Kirishima got through because he was stubborn and just refused to let Bakugo’s words get to him. Or at least, that was what Uraraka thought about it all. Her heart was racing in her chest but she really just... nothing was familiar in this world. Nothing reminded her of home. Yet they were both here.

Which meant she was going to keep trying. Her eyes dropped to the cart that he had been pushing and she easily put together what was going on. ”Do you work here?” Uraraka had gotten a normal job as well. Something to “pay the bills”. Having to suddenly deal with this might have normally thrown her for a bigger loop but she had always been money conscious with how she had grown up. In that manner, Uraraka was more prepared than a great number of her classmates might have been. Bills? She understood those! Balancing a chequebook? Also good! Keeping a schedule to make sure everything was taken care of on time? Check!

But she was alone in a manner she had never been before and that was rough on her. So she kept smiling, hoping that Bakugo somehow felt similar. Or at least, that he wouldn’t explode in her direction. Hopefully. They had never been close but… they knew each other. That had to be enough for the moment.

Katsuki noticed her wave wilt away before it could actually be considered friendly. Attention turning back to his work, as the cat wandered over to her; making a point to purr loudly and rub against her shoes, as he pretended that none of this was happening. He actually glanced back over when she mentioned she hadn't seen anyone else; Katsuki half convinced everyone was here, and he was just doing a great job at avoiding them.

Maybe it really was just the two of them.

"Sorry I'm not literally anyone else," he shook his head - surprised she was actually still trying to talk to him after how he greeted her. Realizing she wasn't going to shut up and just...keep talking at him no matter what he did, he felt tempted to just walk away. Half curious if she'd follow him, or drop the nice act as soon as she didn't feel like she had to. After all, she probably hated him. Nobody was that close with Deku without knowing everything. Probably painted him like some sort of villain.

Instead of walking away, however, he just put the book in his hand on the shelf, and crossed his arms in front of his chest - leaning on the shelf next to him as she questioned how long he'd been in Pandora.

"Uh...bout nine days," he admitted, with a shrug, "Have you been stuck here long?" edge to his voice dropping a bit, "And...yeah. I work here, sleep here. There's...beds in back. I'm too young to live anywhere outside of a fucking orphanage, without a legal adult. So...it's either here or fucking nonstop screaming kids," his gaze dropped back to his pile of books, while he scratched his neck, tempted to just go back to work.

Sorry I'm not literally anyone else. Ochaco instantly felt bad for the way that she had reacted. It was obvious that he could pick up on the fact that she had hoped he was someone else. Almost anyone else, though she had to admit that meeting Mineta would have been worse by a lot. The brunette was also surprised when Bakugo actually spoke to her instead of telling her to get lost of something similar.

Perhaps he felt similar to how she did. Missing home, even if they were entirely different people. He seemed to almost calm down a touch and this was probably the calmest conversation she had had with him to date. Pandora was likely getting to him in a similar manner. Maybe her own thoughts had been a little harsh. "Just under a month." Which meant that she had been here a bit longer than Bakugo but that was alright. Neither of them had been there very long though something that Bakugo stuck with her.

Orphanage. Uraraka knew what an orphanage was. She had heard of Pandora's orphanage because it had been suggested to her though the people at the shelter had started to say she would need to go there until they had found out she was sixteen. She had been questioned a little bit on the subject but then Ochaco had learned that sixteen seemed to be the age where people were considered adults. So she wasn't forced to go to the orphanage and she had found a job instead.

If Bakugo was avoiding the orphanage then he... wouldn't have been sixteen. "Bakugo, how old are you?" It might have seemed like an odd question but Uraraka was pretty certain that Bakugo had had a birthday at some point. They had been living in the dorms for awhile and most of the class had hit their sixteenth birthday by the point she had come from.

Ochaco had heard about this before. She knew that people came from different points in time but Uraraka hadn't realized that it would apply like this! He was younger than her. He came from a different point. She couldn't help but wonder if he knew about All Might no longer being the number one hero or that he had been kidnapped by the League of Villains at one point. "When did you come from?" Her voice was a little quieter. She wasn't sure what to do about this.

Just under a month. Katsuki rose a brow, surprised that meant she had been here longer than him; them meeting a possibility...the entire time he was in fucking Pandora. Probably meant there was a chance there were more of them out there. He didn't even really want to think about that at the moment.

At her question, he studied her - realizing what this was leading to. He heard about all that...timeline bullshit. How people in Pandora could come from any time; sometimes even other versions of the time. If she was asking his age, he probably said some shit that tipped off that something was off between their times. Likely she was already sixteen, and wondering why he was forced into this situation at all. Fucking hell, he didn't want to be the damned baby in the group...if there was a group at all. He normally already trailed a bit behind everyone else age-wise, cuz his birthday was just after the school-year started.

"Fifteen?" he wasn't sure why he was telling her as a question - his attention returning to his pile of books as he slid another one away, before she asked the second part. Dammit. He really didn't want to fucking talk about this.

"Night after the license exam," he vaguely stated, wondering how much she knew. Everyone of course knew about him, that fucking Candy Cane, and that one other asshole failing the exam. But the fight...that made him wonder. There was a lot of shit that happened and was said in that fight that couldn't exactly be fucking public; namely everything to do with All Might. Fuck, him being there at all was probably part of the secret. Even if Bakugo typically just yelled whatever came to mind, he'd actually be careful with what he said. All Might trusted him with his secret - and even here he wouldn't give that up. Even if he never showed up in Pandora, he was asked to not say anything - so he wouldn't.

"Bout you, Round-Face?"

Fifteen. So before her point in time. She... she couldn't exactly remember when his birthday had been. Did that make her a terrible friend? A bad classmate? Ocacho hadn't always been the best at remembering those sorts of things unless she kept reminding herself over and over. That was just... far too much work when they were all trying to become Professional Heroes. Not everyone had the kind of growth that Deku seemed to have. Surprising everyone again and again. Bakugo was no slouch either.

Ocacho needed to buckle down on advancing her own skills. On pushing herself harder. She always seemed to be running behind, trying to catch up, but... none of that currently mattered. Not here in Pandora, though Ocacho was still pursuing that dream when she wasn't working. Just in case she wound up back home, so she wouldn't fall behind. Then he brought up the license exam. Rightttt. That had been awhile ago. "That was..." Before summer break. "Months ago." The words left her mouth ever so slightly.

Because she had been processing that information, Ochaco had not reacted to round-face like she might have normally had. "A lot has happened since then." She sort of trailed off again because this was so off to her. Should she tell him? Should she not? There was a question in her mind but Uraraka didn't have the right answer.

What was the right thing to do?

This was Bakugo though. If anything, he was far too straight forward. Ochaco wouldn't have to second guess his answer. "Do you want to know or not?" If anything Ochaco felt a sudden sense of relief inside of her. Even if it was tell her to go die or get lost, at least she had done this. Uraraka had done the right thing. Oddly that was letting Bakugo's rough honesty make the choice for her, but it made sense in that moment.

Of...course he was right. Irritation pulling at his brow as soon as she admitted that was months ago, for her. His gaze fell, as he made a quiet annoyed sound. Katsuki made a point to try to not lose his complete shit inside. Being fired meant being kicked out, and that really wasn't something he even wanted to slightly be on the table. No way in hell he was going back to that fucking orphanage...or living on the streets. An option he had honestly considered, before that one chick told him about the bookstore.

"Great," he sighed, putting another book on the shelf to distract himself - the cat finally wandering off that had been by their feet.

His gaze only returned to her when she bluntly asked him if he wanted to know what happened. Since - apparently - a "lot" did. Since it was Round Face talking, he wasn't sure what that actually meant. Personal shit, or like...actually stuff that mattered? Did he actually ever get his provisional license? Of course he did. That didn't even need to be asked. Probably another big villain fell into power. Maybe actually caused some wide-spread destruction, since All Might officially retired. It all made sense, and didn't exactly make anything she had to tell him seem like it'd be a positive thing.

"Fuckin' go for it," he shrugged - forcing his voice to sound even and half-aggressive as usual, but honestly he wasn't actually sure he wanted to know. He was curious, yeah. But something about all of this didn't sit right with him. Round Face wasn't literally floating with excitement to tell him about some boyfriend or new move she learned. Instead, she was blunt. Maybe she was just mirroring him for whatever reason, but it put him on edge.

To back his words, he leaned on the bookshelf next to him, and crossed his arms in front of his chest - eyes on the girl that had potential to ruin his day.

Fuckin' go for it. Uraraka was still more than a little startled when Bakugo just suddenly cursed. She knew she should have been used to it by now but it was so startling different from the rest of... well everyone, that she still felt like her eyes bulged just a bit when curse words left his mouth. He just said them so casually that Uraraka couldn't help but think he didn't mean it in a harsh way. It was almost like Bakugo just made it all seem... normal. Which was more than a little weird in Ochaco's books.

"Oh, okay so..." She paused for a second and her large eyes swiveled up to the ceiling as she tried to pick out where to start. "We started our work studies. Deku got signed up with All Might's old sidekick Sir Nighteye. Uh... well, there were a few others too but Kirishima also managed to do his work study with Fat Gum." Known heroes, though they weren't topping the charts. They were still very good at what they did! "Tsuyu and I got a work study with the Dragoon Hero. All of our agencies were involved in a case regarding the yakuza." Her voice dropped slightly before she shrugged her shoulders slightly, it was difficult to talk about but... "One of the big three... lost his quirk because of a drug the Yakuza were making. Deku took on the leader. Sir Nighteye... didn't make it." Her voice dropped a few more tones and she bit her lip slightly as her gaze dropped to the ground instead. Moving everywhere but where Bakugo was, though she knew that it was probably best to look him in the eye.

"Everyone's really on edge again. They rescued a little girl who's abilities are... I'm not sure but she helped Deku fight... the league of villains then killed the... yakuza guy. It was... on the news." Finally Ochaco looked up at Bakugo. There wasn't a lot of detail about what Bakugo had been doing because he hadn't been involved in the case. She was supposed to keep a tight lid on it even after the fact but this was a classmate! And more so, they were in Pandora. If anything it felt kind of nice to talk about it in this manner. It was almost like venting!

"We had a festival at school that went really well. I..." Ochaco felt a need to figure out something positive to say. Something better to end on. Something that had more to do with Bakugo since... well, Bakugo was pretty centered on himself, wasn't he? On improving himself! But... she didn't have any insight into that. "I didn't know you played the drums so well." It was hard to keep her chipper tone going but she tried at the end. She really did try. It just sounded a little half hearted after everything else that had come out. A fight, Yakuza, people dying... and Bakugo played the drums great! How... she sighed slightly and closed her eyes. "Sorry." That probably hadn't been helpful at all.

Bakugo listened - just letting her talk, since she seemed to love the sound of her own voice. Wasn't surprising that there was a lot of villain activity after All Might retired. There would be a fucking void there until someone stepped up. A slight smile pulled at his lips at the mention of Shitty Hair actually getting in with a known hero. At hearing one of the Big Three lost their Quirk with some sort of drug, his brows pinched together, but he didn't interrupt. Gaze narrowing at the mention of Deku - of course it was fucking him - taking on the leader behind the mess.

...Sir Nighteye died?

Katsuki tried to not let it show on his features. But...that was All Might's former sidekick. He was about as strong as they came. Yet he was taken out by...whoever the fuck Deku took on. It'd make sense for the Fanboy to go after someone associated with All Might. Probably his fucking fault the guy died.

"And what the fuck was I doing when apparently everything was going to shit?" the lack of him was...weird. Was it on purpose? Did he die? Did she just want to mock him for not saving the day like her precious Deku did?

Then she went off about some school festival. Random, but fine. Sure. Whatever. Go off about people dying, then talk about a fucking school event.

...Which he apparently played drums at.

"Oh," for whatever reason that compliment caught him off-guard, "Uh, thanks I guess?"

Then she apologized...for some reason.

"Calm the fuck down, Round Face," he rose a brow, before returning his attention back to the bookshelf and his cart of books, "Big surprise, your stupid boyfriend saved the day," yeah he was bitter, "Sucks about Sir Nighteye."

There were times when Uraraka thought she talked too much. She just got nervous and then kept on going. It was difficult for her to reign in when she really got going and Bakugo had an effect on her. He made her nervous because he was so different from everyone else she knew that she never knew what to expect or how to react to him. Other than a general reaction of oh god Bakugo.

"You were at your own work study! Yours just wasn't included in the case." The police had been working with several pro-hero teams in that case. "I didn't do much." Beyond help at the very end. She offered a little bit of a smile but it was awkward and hesitant. Uraraka wanted to do more. She wanted to be more. Uraraka wanted to be a hero.

Calm the fuck down, Round Face. Her cheeks puffed out for a second in reaction, a little bit of color gracing them as she tried to swallow that reaction down. It didn't help that Bakugo was suddenly going on about... well, he could only be talking about Deku and Uraraka's face colored even more. Uraraka just stared at him with that color slowly draining as he... talked about... he hadn't been there! He didn't know what Deku or any of them had been through! He didn't understand--

Bakugo didn't understand anything, did he?

That bitterness over the fact that Deku had done something when Bakugo hadn't was beyond childish and in that moment, Uraraka hit a wall she had never hit before. Or had rarely hit in her life. "Stop it!" Instead her voice raised a few octaves as she breathed a little heavier. Confrontation, hilariously, wasn't always easy for Ochaco. She preferred it when everyone was nice and got along, but the line of work she was in required confrontation, didn't it?

"Stop being jealous! Stop being childish! Don't call him my boyfriend, he's not!" Maybe it had something to do with the fact that they were in Pandora and that Bakugo was the only person she had met from home, but all of that overwhelming emotion she had felt at being so alone in Pandora slammed right back into her then. "Overhaul was hurting so many people! If you were there you would have fought too!!! Just because you weren't the one to save the day doesn't mean you get to be stupid about who did!!! Why do you have to be so caught up in being better instead of caring about saving everyo--!!!" Except Ochaco was yelling now, her voice far too loud for a little bookstore. Both hands lifted to clamp over her mouth and she was paler than normal, the direct opposite of what she had been.

What was she doing? Yelling in the middle of a bookstore at Bakugo?! Ochaco took a couple of steps back away from the other teenager, realizing that this wasn't a good thing. None of it was. She had wanted to connect with someone from home but this... no, this wasn't going to help anyone. So Ochaco decided it was time to leave. Before Bakugo had a chance to be more childish or be sour over the fact it was Deku who had saved the day! At least the day had been saved!!! That was the important part. It would always be the most important part and she thought Bakugo would possibly never understand that.

So she ran. Around the edge of the bookshelf, down the row of aisles, and out the door. Away from Bakugo and her feelings of loneliness. Out and away where she could... Ochaco didn't even know anymore. Just away.

Well, at least he wasn't dead or some other weird shit. Still annoying she really wasn't saying anything about what was going on with him, or even who he got his work-study with. Probably on purpose, just to keep him in the dark. Or maybe it was with some loser, and she didn't want him losing his shit at her. Since he would.

Round Face somehow made her face even rounder...which he genuinely didn't think was possible.

Then she yelled.
In a bookstore.

Annoyance disappearing from his features, and being replaced with flat-out surprise. Honestly, he didn't think the chick had it in her. He knew she could fight, he knew not to under-estimate her; but actually calling his ass out? Yeah...he did not see that coming, pretty much ever.

Jealous.
Childish.
Not her boyfriend.

His hands rolled into fists at his side - ready to fucking explain to her that he wasn't jealous of Deku. That his anger wasn't childish, but just where it was supposed to be. And that he did not give a fuck if they were dating or not.

"Fuck--"

And she ran.

One of the owners of the bookstore was standing not far from them. Her arms crossed, staring him down. Awesome. Fucking...awesome.

Katsuki's gaze fell, before he turned to follow Round Face - an annoyed sigh on his lips as he realized he didn't even know why he was following her. Set her shit straight, and explain how there's no way in hell he was jealous of Deku? Say he didn't think she had it in her to actually stand up for herself? Skip all of that and just go buy lunch?

He didn't know, yet he left the bookstore either way.

Ochaco was mostly running because she was embarrassed she had yelled in public. Or yelled... at all, but it was something she felt needed to be said. She didn't think any of her classmates had managed to sit Bakugo down and ask him what he was doing, but it wasn't like everyone was friends either. The only person who likely had a chance was Krisihma, and he wasn't in Pandora. In fact, Uraraka didn't know anyone but Bakugo in Pandora at this point and there was something about that that had pushed her over the edge.

Her feet slowed as she got further from the bookshop and she realized that she had no clue which direction she had gone. Ochaco had just sort of... run off in a random direction in an attempt to get away from whatever that had been. Now she was in a part of the city she had never been in before. Graffiti on the walls and the like. A sketchier neighborhood in Ark City, though Ochaco thought she didn't have much to worry about. Most people in Pandora didn't seem to have quirks, though a good amount did.

Ochaco felt like her thoughts were too scattered and she shook her head as if she could physically clear them. Instead she brought out her cell phone. If it had been the one back home, there would have been a charm attached. As it was, Ochaco hadn't been planning on staying in Pandora all that long. Everyone told her the same thing when she asked about it. She refused to believe that there wasn't some way home!

So she hadn't decorated anything or tried to worry about the long term. Everything Ochaco had done had been rational for surviving in the moment. She had gotten a job because money was important, gotten an apartment, and hunkered down to figure out what was going on. But she was losing a little bit of faith every day that there actually was a way out. Not when people had been here for years.

Ochaco stopped and pulled up her phone's GPS, ready to try and figure out where she needed to go. It was right about then that she heard a noise behind her. Ochaco didn't think that Bakugo was the sort to follow her out of the store and the person standing behind her wasn't Bakugo. He wasn't alone either. There were a few other people behind him. People who were all staring at her in a manner that wasn't exactly friendly. She scowled at them, taking a step back and putting her cell phone in her pocket. "Are you sure?" Ochaco's shoulders squared up and her eyes focused. She felt... different, here in Pandora. There had been less of a safety net here. No All Might, no Eraserhead. No Deku either. Ochaco had been on her own and she knew that the police couldn't always help in these situations. It made her take life differently.

Her hands came up as they laughed and she put herself in one of the stances that she had learned from Gunhead. Better handle this herself, because she had to and she could. Even if Ochaco didn't want to. Even if being on her own made her actually kind of scared. Just confronting her fears! She could break down about it later!

Katsuki had no fucking clue where this chick was going, but she seemed to be headed there in a hurry. His hands tucked away in his pockets, as he walked. Jaw set, since he was still really fucking pissed off. He wasn't jealous of Deku. And even if he was, why was it any of her damned business? Wasn't like he could tell her that All Might was literally grooming Deku to be his replacement. That he was fucking handed that power and handed extra help, because he was nice or whatever; while Bakugo had been breaking himself most of his life just for a chance to be the best.

It wasn't fucking fair.

Some assholes drew a beat on the lost looking Round-Faced chick, and cut between him and her. Their mistake. She was upset, on edge, and probably would destroy them all.

Honestly, he was sort of excited to see it.

Then she noticed - even questioning their decision to challenge her. That look in her eye was why he was so fucking confused why people thought he'd take it easy on her when they fought. Part of him was tempted to just duck out of the way - the other couldn't turn down a fight. Only problem was that he was directly facing Round Face. Yeah, there were some poor fucks between them, but it'd be too easy to tag her. While he mostly didn't give a fuck - he was curious to see how she'd fight when genuinely pissed off.

So before the assholes could notice him behind them, he fired off one quick explosion into the back of the person closest to him, as they other hand propelled him into the air, over them, and next to Round Face.

"Can't let you have all the fun," a smirk on his lips, as he focused on the assholes that were about to be destroyed.

Ocahco knew that she was capable of plenty of great things, but she also knew that she was still learning. That she had a lot more to learn before she was ever out on her own fighting against this many people. There were also too many unknown factors! It was more than enough to make her feel like she was starting at a slight disadvantage. She just had to go plus ultra, right?

Except one of them went flying over the rest and landed next to Ochaco with an explosion. Which could only be one person, so Ochaco ID'd Bakugo before he even spoke up. There was a spark in those hazel eyes in response. A sudden breath and the brunette rose up on her toes. As if she were bouncing up to make eye contact with her classmate. With her... with her friend.

Can't let you have all the fun. Bakugo was smirking but she answered instantly with a large smile. Something that was almost a grin. The people who had been trying to attack her had all turned to look at Bakugo and Ochaco used that distraction to jet forward. Her hands slapped onto the two closest men, her quirk activating seconds later when Ochaco danced backward and slammed her hands together in their normal formation. Both men yelled as they suddenly rose. Faster than what she had managed at school right before she was dragged into Pandora. Months after her fight with Bakugo at the sports festival.

They shot upward and then, after they had gotten two or so stories up, Uraraka dropped them. No fuss. No apologies. Not high enough to kill but not low enough they could get up easily. She was also moving to the next ones as soon as she let go, trying to decrease their numbers as quickly as possible with a determined look on her face.

It been awhile seen he'd seen Round-Face in an actual fight. She seemed to side-line herself to support half the time; especially with Deku around. Fucking stupid of her. She was literally cutting down her own experience and skill, just because her little bo--friend tended to have to be the center of attention at all fucking times. Yeah, Bakugo wasn't much better about not stealing the spotlight, but he also made a point that people near him still got a chance to fucking fight.

That damned smile on her face answered questions he didn't even have for a second.

She had his back, and he had hers.

Round-Face even actually saw the window he bought her; diving forward with the distraction and touching both the assholes before they had a second to glance back at the girl they thought they'd...whatever the fuck they were planning on doing with her.

They popped up faster than he was used to with her power; causing him to shoot her a quick side-glance before refocusing on the fight. She had said she was from later on...and it was showing.

She was stronger.

The remaining fuck-faces were not expecting Round Face to be able to do anything; eyes wide and not anywhere near Bakugo.

Perfect. He shot forward at the opening she bought him; excited to bash some fucking faces in and let off some steam from how pissed off he was earlier.

So he kicked the guy in the stomach. No powers or anything. He just really needed to kick something. It felt good. The guy doubling over, before he gave him a nice little explosion to the face. It wouldn't kill him, just ruin his day.

Behind him, he heard something hit the ground; a quick glance telling him that both the people Round-Face had used her powers on were now flat on the ground.

Had she...dropped them?
Damn.

Katsuki shot her a genuine smile, with a bit of an impressed laugh, before kicking the guy he was working on to the ground.

Only a few left to go.

Ochaco's quirk was something that was more suited to support than anything else. Support or rescue, but she had been in Pandora by herself for a month. She had seen Deku fight against Overhaul. She knew the sorts of things that could happen in a fight if she didn't take it seriously. If she didn't step up! Ochaco couldn't let herself be held back in that regard.

Bakugo worked into the opening that Ochaco had given him and her eyes lit up further. It was almost like they were actually working as a team! Bakugo kicked one and then slammed an explosion in him. Not anything too big. Ochaco knew what Bakugo's real explosions were like and this was simply something to keep the man down. Which meant Bakugo was holding back a touch because he thought the same way that she did: these were normal people. Despite how terrible they were being, there wasn't any point in going all out with something like Bakugo's quirk!

There was a smile flashed in her direction and Ochaco found herself smiling back. A little brighter and wider than it normally would have been. Less nervous than how she normally smiled at Bakugo. Three down, a couple more to go. One of the remaining two had turned towards Bakugo, yelling at him to get off of his friend when Ochaco was suddenly at his elbow. The guy had to have a foot on her easily, but Ochaco grabbed his arm with both hands and twisted after planting her feet on the ground. Hip checking him and throwing him to the other side of her, near where she had dropped his two friends.

The last one looked between both of them and Ochaco squared her shoulders up. Instead of letting Bakugo take point, she stepped forward with her hands raised in a fighting position. She was just as capable as him, even if she didn't look nearly as intimidating. "That enough?" Her voice was far steadier than it had been back at school but Ochaco... well, this was what growing was, wasn't it?

Apparently Round Face didn't fuck around when that green-haired freak wasn't around. Or maybe just a lot changed in the differences between their times. From what she said, there was that entire villain that she had to fuck around with, with a few others. Maybe that finally made her push past her own "limits" that were probably self-imposed, and get ready to actually be a damned hero.

The asshole who had some problem with Bakugo bringing his friend to the ground, quickly joined them. Uraraka throwing him onto the ground in a way that Bakugo genuinely wasn't sure used her Quirk or not. He rose a brow at her, before turning his attention to the last one - the asshole not sure who to be afraid of. Bakugo about to make a move, but she stepped forward.

She was challenging the fucker.

The guy deciding to take his eyes off of Bakugo, to prepare for an ass kicking from Round-Face. After seeing the rest of his friends get the shit beaten out of them, there really wasn't much else this guy could expect. But he wasn't running, yet.

Bakugo utilized the fact he wasn't the center of attention - punching the fuckface in the face, before knocking him off his feet with an explosion to the stomach. Yeah, maybe he used way more force than was necessary for some random person. But he was fucking annoyed. These assholes had been ganging up on Round Face. If she had been anyone else, this shit could have been beyond fucked up fast.

Instead it was fucked up for them. The guy hitting the opposite wall, before falling to the ground. He wasn't dead, probably.

"Now it is," he shook out his hands with a smirk, before glancing over at Round-Face, "You've gotten better."

The man wound up not having too much of a choice as Bakugo stepped up and suddenly sucker punched him in the face. Which meant that all the would be criminals were on the ground and most of them looked like they weren't actually getting up any time soon. Uraraka let a little bit of a breath go, showing the fact that she had been a little nervous in this situation but that she also hadn't let it get to her or stop her either.

You've gotten better. Ochaco looked up at Bakugo with surprise dancing across her features for a second. But then a smile replaced it and Uraraka nodded to him. "I've had to." There were so many things going on. Ochaco didn't have time to be left in the dust. Not anymore.

The brunette quickly pulled out her phone. There were a few charms from home dangling from the thing, but she quickly dialed up the cops because that was the next thing to be done. Uraraka rattled off what had happened and where they were currently, so the cops could come and arrested the men. She also made sure to give her license number, so they understood that a vigilante had done this. Because that was an important thing in Centria.

Uraraka paused slightly before looking up at Bakugo. "What's your number?" She assumed that he had registered, because that was exactly the sort of thing they would need to do to follow their paths from home as much as possible. She was still on the phone with the cops and looked like her request was the most normal thing in the world.

I've had to.

Well, that was one fucking way to get better. Katsuki knew people were motivated by different shit. For him, he always wanted to be the best; forcing him to always push himself, even when his lungs burned and someone else kept getting past him. It was sorta weird to him that not everyone wanted the same shit he did. But whatever; if it worked, it worked.

And for her, it definitely fucking worked.

He leaned his back against the brick wall beside them with his arms crossed in front of his chest, as Round-Face pulled out her phone to probably report what happened. Bakugo's eyes on the assholes - daring any of them to get up. He didn't exactly have a way to tie them up at the moment, so he'd have to settle on just watching them until people with cuffs were on the scene.

She filled them in on the basics of what happened, rattling off a number, before asking for Katsuki's.

The number she said didn't...exactly sound like a phone number, but he found himself saying his own in response. Maybe they needed it to contact them for questions or some shit. Didn't exactly make sense, since they'd be there when the cops showed up anyway. But whatever, he gave it anyway. Pandora was fucking stupid; maybe it was just policy.
